It is just a kind of place that you learn to love. When you enter it you get back in time a decade our so. But who cares? It was too hot, the fans were working in overdrive. De bathroom was outdated but who cares? The furniture in the room was spacious and quiet in the way but who cares…..
You simple walk in to the city centre, parking on the street is free but a hassle, we loved it!

We visited Rapallo at the start of a heatwave and were sorry we hadn' t booked a place (anywhere) with airco.
The room (nr.11) was tidy, a bit old fashioned but with a good bathroom.
Everyday a 5 minutes walk to the boulevard was gorgious.

Nice place but no airco

There's no parking and you have to scour for a spot in the area. The rooms with shared bath are fine, and the building is an old, pre-War villa. It's pretty spartan, but works fine. The beaches are packed in August, but it's nice that you are close to seaside restaurants and the town center. Rapallo is not overrun by non-Italian tourists, so it's interesting, and the people in the town center are very nice in general. It's not as breathtaking as the Cinque Terre villages, but it's a nice stop between Paris and Rome.
