Zia Bi Bed And Breakfast

I totally recommend this B&B. I would describe it as hotel rather than a B&B. We took 4 rooms for a week as a family attending a wedding. Other wedding guests also booked rooms and everyone was happy with the accommodation. Other family members were able to visit us over the course of the week. Betsy speaks very good English and was very helpful and understanding. There is always someone around if you need anything. The chalets and rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. I didn't expect the grounds to be so big. It is very green and well kept. Pools were great. Plenty of sunbeds, sunshades, tables and chairs. There are toilets and showers near the pool. Pool Bar was open from 11:00 - 19:30 and always had a good stock of cold drinks and alcohol. We were able to order food for lunchtime or have takeaways delivered at any time. Breakfast was OK. cereal, ham, cheese, yoghurt , fresh croissant and fresh crusty bread. Coffee from the machine was nice and fresh orange juice every morning. There is a lovely view of Versuvius from the lower pool. The negatives aren't anything Zia Bi can change:- The aircraft noise is regular but not constant. Maybe 5 planes n hour take off but only one flies directly overhead where you have to stop talking for 15 seconds and you very quickly get used to it. They don't start too early and never woke me up. it is surrounded by hilly roads. We never saw anything within walking distance and got taxis into Naples whenever we went out. It is so nice and relaxing there that we actually decided to stay at the pool and get a takeaway one night. It is very safe in the grounds with plenty of lights at night There are ants that find food wherever you leave it so just be careful where you leave it. Other than that the ants are tiny so don't bother you. Despite what it says on the taxi meter taxi drivers will tell you there is a booking charge or night tax so just resign yourself to paying 20 euros for every taxi ride. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the Spanish quarter in the centre of Naples or the marina. Do not hesitate to book Zia it is a lovely place.
