The location was very easily accessible by foot from the train station and located next to a parking as well as the beach.

Rooms were very clean and well kept, with a nice sized bathroom as well as a great view onto the sea from the rooms terrace. 

Despite the guest house being in the center, it was very calm at night( railway as well as noise levels couldn’t be heard from inside the room).

The host was exceptionally accommodating and helpful as well as kind.

The host gave us a lot of great advice and tips for: the trails to walk, restaurants to eat at and also what activities are available near by.

We highly recommend staying at this charming guest hotel!

Trip to Cinqueterre August 2024

We stayed here for 4 days. Perfect location for the beach, shops and restaurants. Very clean and lovely apartment either way a patio. Has everything you need and Marco the host, was amazing. So helpful, kind and friendly. He gave us some excellent recommendations for eating. The hiking to the next town is quite hard, but brilliant.

Perfect accommodation in a perfect location

Great location just off of the main “strip” and near the beach. Our bathroom was located down a small flight of stairs but it was big and had double sinks. Room was clean and AC was nice on hot days. Monterosso was the right choice for our “home base” for the three nights we were in Cinque Terre. Would definitely recommend this property.

Stayed 3 nights here, good size room, terrace but NO VIEW. Quiet and easy walk to beaches etc. Host was not overly friendly but ok. Small refrigerator, good bathroom. No stairs which was helpful. Walking distance to train station.



Great! 100 feet from the beach. Restaurants close by. Train station is a 3 minute walk. Nice property at a beautiful vacation destination

Great place

1.Good room.Neat room and big toilet.2.Bad air conditioner.The power of air conditioner is weak3.Terrible cleaning service.We asked for room cleaning three times.But nobody cleaned up. When the janitor came we asked for cleaning now. The janitor said she would come back later. But she did not come after all.We have been to numerous trips. This was the first time that I had not received the cleaning service.4.kind people

We booked I Tibei for 2 nights in April 2019. Not far at all from the train station, but not well marked and hard to find...as you've prob heard, GPS does not always work in these small towns and we walked up and down a steep hill looking for this place and it was pouring! When you come out of the train station, go right, pass a small section of shops and a road will turn right up a hill-I Tibei will be behind a small wrought iron gate on the left, not far up on the hill. The website says check in begins at 2pm....don't fall for that line of BS. We found the place and waited outside under a covered area, wet and cold. I sent e mail and called with no response. A man wanders in at 3:15..not at all caring that we are there. I said "you are late" He replies, I work at 3, that's on the owner not me!". Then he says we can not stay here as there are heating problems. We walk to an apartment building at the bottom of the hill and around the corner a bit and are given a room in there. There is a pretty common area with nice views but the room was a small "hotel" sized room with a loft up stairs for our 3rd person. I told the man, I booked with them as I did not want steps (we knew there would be millions of steps in our 3 week visit and wanted to avoid them at our rooms!) It was clean and modern but NOT what I booked and there was NO apology or concern for the inconvenience. I can't comment on the actual Guesthouse but the customer service is horrible. This was the only snafu we had in 3 weeks of travel. If you book here, I hope you have more luck than we did.

Poor Customer Service

Great location with a very short walk to the waterfront. It is on the opposite end of where the title town is, but there are plenty of restaurants and bars. The train station is a 10 min. walk. There is also a little bakery very close that we would get our coffee and breakfast from as there is no breakfast at the guesthouse.  The room itself was a good size with a terrace about the same size as the room.  It was clean and the staff very friendly.  I did have to call to be sure someone was going to be there to let us in as we arrived around 7. They do take breaks and seem to only come to check people in.  We were told they would not be back to get us our room till 7:30.  It was fine, as there was a patio out front that we could sit and relax in. The internet in our room did not work great but did on the front patio if you really need it.  The little town was very cute and we dined there one of the nights as well and enjoyed walking the little town.

Good Option!

This is a quaint little hotel, but the service was poor.  We got locked out of the hotel and there was nobody to let us in.  We almost missed our departing train as a result.  There are virtually no services within the hotel, but lots to choose from close by.  If booking back in Cinque Terre, we would probably consider other options with an actual reception desk.

One mattress was collapsing, flat-thin pillows, ants in bathroom and bedroom area.
