The toilet was sometimes working, sometimes not. There were no towels in the apartment, they would give some for 3€/person. As per booking the breakfast way inclueded, but they counted 3€/person for it. And the breakfast was really poor. They counted some € because of the air conditioning, but they forgot to give the remote control to it. Nonsense.
Terrible place to stay, do not recommend.

Terrible place

We arrived at Villa Erade for a Wedding we had on Ischia.

We were tired for the travel and the host has sped up the check-in as much as possible.
She is a smiling, nice, woman from Ischia... she is nice to speak with and in hte hotel you can find several locals that are a pleasure to chat with.

The B&B is dog-friendly and the owner as a small friendly cat.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and, in spite of the hot june weather, they are fresh.

We have spent a good night and the morning after we had a good breakfast.
Let's say that I'm a little lactose-intolerant and as this has come up the previous day while checking-in the owner was so kind to provide for lactose-free milk. 

The hotel has a small pool but I can only suggest to go get the amazing Ischia sea.

Just an advice, book a scooter as this will make your travel in Ischia much easier (and less expensive as well!)

P.s. Ask the owner an advice on where to get traditional Ischian food!

A nice place... a perfect host

The place is nice and quite. The owners are very gentle and helpful.

I didn'like that every morning at 09.30 one of the owners and the cleaning lady started cleaning. They were very loud and in my opinion there is no reason to clean every morning.

Nice place for a quite vacation in Ischia

I stayed in one of the apartments with a few friends and it was a good experience.
The place wasn't fancy but we had a small garden right next to the pool. The downsides were that the apartment wasn't well-equipped (we even had to buy toilet paper) and the wifi only worked when we were outside.

It is easy to reach the place by bus from Ischia Porto and Casamicciola. Take line #3 and then it is advisable to ask the driver to stop when you arrive to Via Castanito. It stops 200 meters away from Villa Erade.

We would have liked to stay longer. Ischia is fantastic :-)

Nice stay

We usually try to choose very carefully the places to stay for our vacation reading lots of reviews, looking through traveler's photos, etc. But this time the vacation came pretty unexpectidely and we had a pretty bad time limit for choosing a hotel. We were willing to come to Ischia and wanted to stay in Casamicciola Terme. Obviously, all the best hotels for a decent price were already full, so we've chosen Villa Erade based on pretty good reviews on booking.com although here at tripadvisor there was only 1 review.
When you arrive to Ischia and have your suitecases and backpacks it is a pretty long journey to get to villa. Either take a taxi or buses 3,4 or 14 from Piazza Marina. We made a little mistake and went to the stop at Via Monte della Misericordia because the sign at the beginning of the street said that buses 3,4 and 14 stop there. As we found out later, only bus 4 goes on that street. The nearest bus stop is about 1 minute walk from the B&B. The buses mostly arrive by schedule (it's really a must have thing on the island).
During our procedure of booking we contacted the owner - Ercole - by e-mail and by phone. He never showed up at the villa during our 2 week stay. When we arrived there was his Mom over there - really nice woman who prepared us breakfasts and cleaned the room some of the days, but she spoke just NO English. But we got a little unlucky because we arrived on weekend. During the working week every morning there was nice young man (to tell the truth I forgot his name) who spoke good English and was really helpful. The B&B itself is situated on the second floor of a building. The apartements and the breakfast zone are located in a different area farther by the small street about 100 meters away. The pool is even farther - 200 meters. There was almost no sea view from our room (nice sea view is only from the pool area). The breakfasts were pretty usual with fresh and very tasty croissants, wonderful capuccino, juices, cheese.
There is free wi-fi in villa that works pretty well. We paid for our stay with credit card on the last day of our visit. 
The room got cleaned every day. The shower is really small situated in the corner of the bathroom near the toilet and separated from the rest of the bathroom with a blind. The air conditioning worked just fine.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel without having a car (as far as I understood they provide free parking). Or if you enjoy walking a lot (especially, up and down the hills) then this is your choice too. Moreover, it's better that you speak some Italian since it'll be pretty hard to solve any problems in the afternoons and on weekends when there is noone who speaks English at villa. If you are not stopped by the facts mentioned above and don't need sea-view from the room but a nice view on Epomeo mountain than this villa is your choice for a pretty decent price!
