120 reviewsEasy to find and in a good location. It's not far to take a cable car up the mountain, and the hotel is near a bank, a newsagen'ts, a bakery and a pharmacy. Plenty of parking in front of the hotel, and near the garden at the back. The garden itself is very well cared for, as is the whole hotel. There were lots of places to sit and read/relax with sofas along the corridor, a large bar and lounge area on the ground floor as well as seating in the garden. I was also impressed that the wifi worked throughout the building and throughout the garden area. The multilingual staff were friendly and helpful, taking an interest in all the guests. For breakfast there was a good variety of sweet and savoury food available. Dinner was delicious (I especially enjoyed the soups and desserts) and the presentation of each dish was refined. Being on the main road it would probably be better to have a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the garden and pool, but the traffic didn't disturb me. Maybe the sound of Church bells at 7am would be a little more muted at the rear too! Overall, very happy to have stayed here.
