Amazing accomadation , staff could not be friendlier . Food amazing as usual . Only thing missing was the friendly Terry behind the bar . Could not reccomend this place highly enough . 
Very central , close to Eyre square and station . Well worth a visit if in the locality . 

My husband John and I just returned from a 2 night stay here. It was amazing value at 99 per room per night. From the moment we rang to book to check in, to drinks in the bar, there was a lovely friendly atmosphere. Our room on the third floor overlooking the square was cosy, clean and atmospheric. All of the staff from the receptionists to Christina in the bar were extremely friendly and helpful. The bar itself was a lovely olde world bar with amazing stained glass doors. We loved our freshly cooked breakfast every morning. This is an exceptionally nice small and friendly hotel and we will definitely return.

Right in the heart of  galway . my home away from home . The Guinness never disappoints  always fresh and creamy.  Best pint in galway .  Food is amazing.  Staff are second to none.... Best pub in galway .

I stayed here in November and despite the cold was given a warm welcome on check in .the hotel is great value for the money the staff are all friendly and helpful the food is excellent and the rooms though not huge are very well furnished and kept spotlessly clean the location is perfect and having stayed in hallway 3 times a year for the last 8 years can honestly say this place is among the best I've paid 3btimesvthe price and not enjoyed it as much 

Small hotel in centre of Galway. You don't need taxi or bus you are just close to shops,restaurants, pubs. Rooms are not big but cosy and clean. Toilet is small but you have shower ,sink if you don't want to dancr6is just right size.Staff is very helpful, special thanks to Lisa for her kindness and smail on her face very professional service. 

Must visit when in Galway. The mushroom soup is so delicious - would eat it every day.
Waitress Dina is just amazing. She was so positive, helpful and definitely left a huge impression on us. It is great to see such amazing people working in this industry.

Garvey's has the best locaction In Galway.  Eyre Square is right in the centre of the city and makes getting around.  There is no car parking at this site but you get a very generous discount at a close by car park.  We were told that it could be a bit noisy with the traffic and nightly entertainment in the bar, but have to say that neither of these disturbed us in any way. We really loved the secutity of this place (you leave your room key behind the bar when you go out and then ask for it on your return, if the staff don't recognise you then you have to produce ID - which is checked).  All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and out room was clean and well presented.  Yes it was a bit small, but we were only in the room to sleep and shower as Galway has such a lot to offer. The food served in the bar is second to know and good generous postions too.  We would definately stay here again

Garvey's is close to the train and major bus stations. It is a fun place for a pint of anything you want. Good food too. A hard working staff.are friendly and attentive. The prices are good. A delightful place to end your bus or train trip.

I visited the place last week. I was served by one of the most attentive and friendly waitresses I ever met. Her name is Sarah. I felt great  and ate very well. The mashed potatoes reminded me of my grandma's. Sensational

I stayed here for two nights, and was happy with my stay. The staff in the hotel and in the pub are incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, too!  It's on Eyre Square, close to both the tourist bus station, and the regular bus/train station. It's also within walking distance to the Latin Quarter.  The room was on the small side, but I was only in it to sleep, so that was fine with me. I would definitely recommend staying at Garvey's!
