Lovely accommodation, clean, peaceful and tasteful decor. All amenities to hand. A warm welcome from Patricia, the kind and friendly owner. Very convenient location for Galway  University and Hospital. Close to the Latin Quarter with many varied restaurants and sights. Not too far from Salthill for those fond of sea swimming. Easy links to various tourist destinations including the Famine Museum in Portumna- well worth a visit with friendly and knowledgeable Staff and poignant displays of art and mementoes of the Great Hunger. Highly recommended. 

Galway City and environs.

We stayed at Brook Lodge in January this year for 3 nights Patricia could not have been anymore accommodating and even dropped us to the bus station so we didnt have to pay for taxi.
Breakfast is amazing and power showers were so good

Homely stay

I was staying at the ashgrove but couldn't stay a 3rd night as they was fully booked, the owner recommended here. On arrival the owner was so friendly, patricia even felt sorry for me and ironed my shirt for going out, (it was my birthday too😊).
Very spacious room and washroom. Lots of selection for breakfast, cereals, drinks etc, and some lovely background irish country music(my irish molly was playing)which i hadn't heard for about 30 years when my nan used to play it every sunday😊. Memories, haha, thank you very much patricia, god bless, hope to stay again one day.

Brook lodge guesthouse

Have stayed here for 3 weeks Mon-Fri as I was attending NUIG. Very convenient to college and great to have free parking. The B&B is immaculate and very comfortable. Great selection at breakfast fresh fruit, Yoghurts, cereals, cooked breakfast and delicious Brown bread. Have to say Patricia makes a lovely cup of tea. No substandard tea bags here. Patricia and her daughter are friendly warm ladies. It was a home from home and I definitely will stay here again.

Fantastic B&B

we stayed in brook lodge for 2 nights,and it was a lovely place to stay.The rooms were very clean with en suite bathrooms.Private parking is also available,and it it within walking distance to the city centre.depending how quick you walk 10 to 15 mins into city.It is worth a look inside the cathedral when passing it on the way to city centre.There is also a bus stop outside the b&b that brings you into the city! Patricia is the lady running the b&b,and she is a lovely lady that is very helpful.the breakfast is beautiful with a variety of cereals,fruit and yoghurt,and also a cooked breakfast which went down a treat.I will definitely stay here again,and I highly recommend it,well done to patricia!

Nice b&b

Booked here for 20 people(aged from 24-50's)(2 couples included). Rooms are 100% worth the money, couples had there own room which included a double bed and ensuite, the rest had shared bedrooms that slept 2-5 people in different rooms all had an ensuite.The beds were so comfortable and rooms where clean. Each room came with coffee and tea facilities & towels! All rooms could be safely locked. The lady who runs it Patricia was so nice and extremly helpful with recommending restaurants and taxis. The man who cooks the breakfast the next morning was also friendly, he cooked an full irish breakfast which was so nice and he got the breakfast's out in good timing for the amount of people there,also avaliable were a selection of cereals,fruit, yoghurts, juices, jams, tea & coffee. We were able to come and go as we liked. 10mins walk to Eyre sqaure, or taxi between 7of us was €15.Plenty of parking at the back of building.right beside a shop and garage.Can not recommend this place highly enough. Such nice people to deal with. 

100% Recommend

The most delicious breakfast not once but twice. Hot showers and comfortable bed. Just all I needed was a place to lay my head. Free parking was a big plus and only 20 mins maximum walk into Eyre Square.

Hospital close by

Patricia, was very welcoming. The rooms are clean, warm and ensuite The location is great, along with the price and it included a good breakfast and free parking. Would definitely be happy to stay again!

Great location and price

The BnB needs a lot of work and a good cleaning/painting. The hallways and stairs needed a vacuum, the ceiling was falling in on the shower. The beds were springy, and sheets and towels were clean but old. No nice extras. Colleagues stayed elsewhere for the same price but had a much better stay. Great location for the uni so it’s a pity the quality isn’t higher.

Basic guesthouse - not good value

Sheets were dirty. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for the price. So many nicer places to stay at less cost. Patricia cancelled my stay several hours before I was to arrive at approx 11pm saying it was too late and that she had plans. I had booked a 5 week stay with her. She was extremely rude.
