Wren Urban Nest

A friend and I stayed at Wren Urban Nest in Dublin, in a Cosy Nest room for one night at the start of our trip and it worked just fine for us. The rooms are certainly not traditional hotel rooms; they are meant to be compact and somewhat pod-like but the room we had was well laid out and had everything we needed. The room is equipped with smart functions like touch lights and button-controlled curtains, and USB charge ports. Bed was very comfortable! But we struggled to get the temperature to a suitable level overnight. Location is spectacular; the entrance opens into an odd little alleyway but it always felt very safe, located very close to the Temple Bar district and Trinity College. My only feedback would be that the doors separating the shower and the toilet from the main space weren't quite opaque enough. But if you're travelling with someone, I imagine it's someone you're comfortable enough with to share living space so it may not be an issue. Again, the room is compact so if we had been staying for longer than a night, it may have started to feel cramped for two people. If travelling alone, I do think it would be a perfect amount of space. I'd certainly stay here again if travelling solo or with a close friend but certainly not with anyone who may need some extra space.
