I booked with this hotel through booking.com. We were a group of people wanting to travel to Dublin to see the city. We were due to being joining others there who were also planning on booking with this hotel. 

When I booked with booking.com it was no prepayment required and pay at the property. This suited me and my friends as we weren’t sure due to the pandemic if we were going to be able to travel, and also paying at the property suited us as we were planning on splitting the cost. 

Randomly, 5 days before I was due to travel, the hotel took two payments, which I can only assume were the full amount and also the damage deposit that would have been required when we got to the hotel. I can only assume this as I don’t have any confirmation from them as to what the payments were for. This totalled nearly £300. I checked and could not see why they had taken payment, and why they had taken two separate transactions. 

I contacted booking.com and raised this and they told me the hotel had breached policy and they would ask the hotel to give me a refund. They did this and gave the hotel 24 hours to respond.

They didn’t. I sent them multiple messages as did booking.com and they did not once respond. I called them repeatedly and no one answered the phone. Booking.com told me they called them and a lady answered and when they started asking about this matter she said she couldn’t talk and hung up. 

I was not able to travel due to there being travel restrictions from the uk to Ireland. The hotel were fully aware of this yet took money from my card despite this and took it illegally. 

This hotel is a fraudulent company, and I would suggest unless you want money wiped from your card, you do not book with them. 

Disgusting customer service and absolutely appalling that they are making money from the covid 19 pandemic. As a key worker I have played my part in this, only to be ripped off and my hard earned money stolen from this hotel. 

To this day I have not had a response from them, or a refund. Disgusting.

NEVER BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL - Fraudulent!

Apartment stunk of weed
Not enough pillows or mugs or cutlery
Lady to give us code over phone was very rude and we were left waiting. 
I have left an item there and I was promised it to be sent to me but it hasn’t been and now I’m being ignored. 
Good location but that is about all it has going for it. 
We booked for 5 people and it said it could fit more- there were 4 of us and that was enough!

Do not book- terrible service and smell of weed

Apartment was a nice size, very clean and had everything we needed for a few days away. There is a small Tesco which is about a 5 min walk away and the Temple Bar area (lots of pubs) is around a 10 min walk.

Booked 2 apartments for a group of 10.  When we got there we were told an apartment was trashed. 4 people ended up in the living room floor.  2sofa beds in Apartment 4 were broken.  They didn’t even put enough crockery in the kitchen. Shower very mouldy. Such a shame as location is good

Such a let down

Ok, so i booked through booking.com before reading the reviews on here, when i checked i was gutted! however i am so glad i kept my booking. everything went smoothly, rajmonda is lovely and a great host. she walked us to our room (we had the apartment in temple bar) and she couldnt have been more helpful. ok the apartment could do with a lick of paint and the door could've done with fixing, but for a lads weekend away it was brilliant. would definitely stay here again.

Don't listen to the bad reviews!!

Room stunk of cigarettes, cupboard door fallen off, hooks fallen off, mirror fallen off, curtains don’t open. Free Wifi well it’s free because it doesn’t work. If you unfold the couch for your child you can’t access kitchenette. Rubbish left in kitchen, mould in shower. And the noise, seriously sleeping sucked.

Terrible, only the location is good

I’m writing this from my makeshift bed on the floor of an apartment I have been sharing with 9 other women since Friday. I’m using 4G because the WiFi doesn’t work.
We booked two apartments, but arrived to be told that one had been trashed so we couldn’t stay there, as seems to happen fairly frequently according to reviews on trip advisor. They’re pretty unlucky that they keep getting rooms so trashed that they’re not fit for human habitation even after cleaning(!) 
As a result we now have 6 beds for 10 people, so four of us have been relegated to a little sleepover in the living area. There are two fold down sofa beds, but one is broken to the point that it won’t support the weight of one adult human, let alone two, and the other is just really, really uncomfortable. We have been offered a partial refund.
All that aside though, the accommodation itself is lovely. The bathroom and shower are clean (although the set up to get hot water is a bit complicated and I’m still not entirely sure I understand). Everything is well decorated and the kitchen was also practical, and very clean.
The central location was perfect for us, and as a hen party it wasn’t the end of the world about the bed issue because we only stayed two nights. However, I think if we’d been staying any longer we would have had to find somewhere else to stay.
I wouldn’t avoid staying here again, but I’d certainly be cautious about it. I think honesty is important, and Dublin 1 aren’t honest about what they can offer.

Not entirely honest...

These apartments were perfect for us as it was two young couples who stayed here. We didn’t plan on staying in the apartment for long periods of time just sleeping and getting ready there and it was perfect for that. 
Location was amazing situated just across the river from the temple bar district. However these apartments are on a main road and next to a busy club so it is very loud until late at night (didn’t bother us but families wouldn’t appreciate this). 
Apartment was nice and basic but we found it to be very clean and good for the weekend. 
Kevin greeted us almost immediately and was very friendly checking us in. 

Had what we needed 

Absolutely great night stay, the apartment was so clean, spacious and newly renovated, Kevin was so lovely and helpful. He decorated my room for my anniversary without any request for it. Everything was amazing start from finished. Monda was amazing too so helpful and such a lovely character.

Great getaway

I was afraid to review this place before because of what other people had posted about the owner. This was the worst place I’ve every stayed and I’ve stayed at a lot of different hotels, air bnb’s and hostels and this was by far the worst place. The pictures they showed online are completely false. Our apartment was falling apart, mold everywhere. I would rather go to the bathroom in a gas station than in this apartment.  Last I heard
Booking.com had taken them off their site because of numerous complaints. I think trip advisor should do the same.
