Redclyffe House

My wife the Rev Caroline Burns and myself Rev Paul Burns were booked into the Redclyffe the weekend of the Cork Marathon, as we were involved in a few Church engagements over the next 10 days. Mick and his wife were lovely hosts alongside their two lovely children and I think the King Charles was called Alfie, who enjoyed attention and lots of loving, which was responded to. Travelling down we hit a few road delays and Mick was wonderful staying up to get us settled in. I don't know what ship ahoy is talking about alongside another commentator, a bit confused by their responses /attitudes. The Familybwere lovely and theceggs were from.free range and lovely . I take s special.diet on account of my heart condition and Mick and his wife were very understanding and accommodating, and everyone staying at that tome thought their stay and breakfast was very filling. The accomodatio. Was located on main way in on western side to Cork with good transport links in and out of city with a good sized car park. The rooms were very comfortable and had had WiFi access, storage and tea/coffee facilities with the rooms changed every day and a high standard of cleanliness. We were allocated a ground floor front room on account of my disability and needs and the room very spacious. Over all we were staying in I believe a historical listed building and it was very quaint. I couldn't fault this B&B in any way and as I said you couldn't meet a more welcoming and accommodating family in Mick his wife and Children. A really home from home atmosphere and when needing to get accomodation in Cork again Mick and his family will be our first port of enquirey in Cork. We will definitely be back.
