We needed accommodation in Depok and found this hotel. Pretty new hotel and very clean. Staff doesn't speak English but it wasn't a problem at all .. they were very helpful with stocking our rooms with towels and bottled water and smiled every time we passed them Room is very clean and well equipped. Breakfast is just toast and butter (didn't have any) Beds were very comfortable and the blankets were soft. Shower was nice and the water warm/hot for people who like hot showers. The area is great! Lovely alleys and great people. The food in this area is good too . We felt safe in the neighborhood and got many friendly encounters where ever we went. Again just stroll around in the alleys and you will feel relax and will see lots of things, meet nice people and have great snacks/food. Angkot 02 passes by 100 times an hour so it's very easy to get to the main road Jl Margonda .. from there easy to take busses and trains to Jakarta and Bogor. Terminal bus and Depok Baru trainstation You could take an airport bus as well from this busterminal. I highly recommend people who like to be in an authentic Indonesian neighborhood Just to relax right outside the big city and chaos.
