As I slowly relished the last slice of mango from the trees of Quinta da Graca, I couldn't help but smile in sheer happiness. From now on, I can never eat a mango and not think of this beautiful place tucked away in the by lanes of Saligao. I wouldn't have enjoyed the Goan summer so much, if not for the amazing hosts, their warm reception, picturesque home, ripened fruits freshly plucked from the abundance of trees, the easy breezy courtyard, high ceilinged old Indo Portuguese rooms and so much more. 
Here I could spend hours sitting at the courtyard, without a fan, just lazily reading my novel. The morning breeze couldn't have made my yoga practice any more fulfilling. This place could easily be an artist's retreat! Every nook and corner is worth starting at in awe.
I stayed here for a day with my family and needless to say I didn't feel like leaving the place. 
I had booked the room named Manga. Even though it was a non AC room and it's peak summer, we were extremely comfortable nonetheless.
I loved the breakfast uncle aunty put together for us the next morning. It had the coconut bread (a Goan speciality), farm grown bananas, home grown mangoes, sapota and some deliciously made eggs.
Overall, we loved the entire stay and experience and would love to come back again with more time :)

Quinta da Graca gave me a happy place to remember at all times :)

Our stay at Quinta da Graca made our trip to Goa truly memorable. Its yellow walls, quaint rooms, and endearing hosts give it a charm that stays with you longer than any regular hotel experience. Located in a quiet neighbourhood with about a dozen other beautiful houses, it is still at a convenient distance from a lot of interesting places (Houses of Goa, the Calangute and Baga beaches, etc.). The rooms -- clean, air-conditioned and homely -- are very welcoming after a long day outside. The hosts, Savio and Audrey, are wonderful, friendly, and open people with many stories to tell about the culture and history of Goa. They are also great for consultation on any sight-seeing or exploring agendas. The breakfast is delicious, and served with a round, fresh Goan bread called "poee". However, while we loved Audrey's omelettes, we do wish we were given an option to have more of them every morning, and would be prepared to pay a little extra for it. For lunch and dinner, there are several great options very close by. 
All is relaxed, calm, and warm at Quinta da Graca - a place for new memories. 
It offered to us a Goan experience that was unique and enjoyable down to every last minute. We know that we will keep going back there, and can assure that it's definitely worth the long drive from the airport.

Our Best Trip to Goa

We recently made a road trip from Mumbai down to Goa. Our first days we have spent at Quinta da Graca and it was wonderful. Savio and Audrey are so friendly, warm and open and we thoroughly enjoyed Savio's stories about the history of Goa and his life. The room and bathroom are spotless and clean. The breakfast is nice and Savio and Audrey prepare it with love and if you want it will be served with their great company. The garden is beautiful and so is their mansion, a passion for both of them. The location is good, close enough to all the good spots, yet in a quiet neighbourhood where nature can be heard. And the horn of the baker, but that adds to the Goa experience. We will surely go back here! Thank you Savio and Audrey for sharing your lovely home!

Our favourite place in Goa

This is the second time we stayed here. If one is looking for the best then this is the place to stay in comfort with new age facilities in old world charm, have delicious breakfast and enjoy the wonderful company of hosts Savio and Audrey. The place is close the popular beaches Candolim, Calangute,and Baga beaches.

Best Homestay in Goa

Whilst the room was clean and resembled the photos online, as two young women the host made us feel very uncomfortable. We wouldn’t stay here again. We did not feel as though we had our own space, and the host wouldn’t leave us alone despite us making it clear that we wanted to relax. One one occasion he came to our room around 7pm and would not leave for 45 mins, despite us making it clear we were playing cards. 

They also have a small but aggressive dog who would bark at us when we entered or left the property which was very unwelcoming. The wifi did not work in our room, which meant we had to sit outside the front door of the main property to access it.
