The property is at excellent location, very scenic. Very close to the famous temples. Rooms are also clean. It was closed for tourists since few years and has started again recently. Restaurant served our food orders with prior notice.  

Very nice property

View from the location is very nice & also away from the hustle & bustle of the city. Located on the state highway. Has a restaurant which offers decent food. However you need a vehicle to move around.

Excellent location

1. You can book online / by calling them on 788 789 7531
2. No mobile network issues detected near H villas
3. Car can be parked outside the villa
4. For senior citizens / people with physical challenges it will be difficult to reach the room with 3 flight of stairs of 12 steps each of 150mm each :)
5. Restaurant is available but one cannot depend on it (due to covid times) Order breakfast a night before and it doesn't come to your room. Lunch/ dinner can be ordered an hour in advance and comes to your room
6. People are very nice and cooperative
7. Other than towels, linens, bedsheets they don't provide anything like toothbrush, paste, shampoo. Soap they provide (1 per room)
8. Location is not close to any beach (please check Google maps for details) but if the objective is to visit temples then this place is the best.
9. In case you are proficient fish eater and want to indulge in local Goan cuisine, drive to Hotel Swagath earlier known as Hotel Kinara which is ca. 3kms

Pleasant stay

This is a right location for making a temple tour in Goa. Most of the temples are located in this part of the state. There is restaurant that provides breakfast lunch and dinner.  You get both veg and non veg. You need to plan well as the preparation and serving the food takes quite some time. Rooms are clean and tidy.

Convenient Location

1. The construction of the building was nice but people with problem in legs (or Aged People) should avoid this hotel as you have walk quite an elevation to reach your rooms. You will easily get suffocation if you don't get the rooms close to restaurant.
2. They have food service to rooms from in-house restaurant but that add 15% extra to your bills
3. Location is pretty nice with green hills around. Mornings are very beautiful, but nights are almost pitch dark. 
4.Its a good option to stay if you are in Goa to witness the Hilly and Non-Beach side of the state.

Good Stay by GTDC

The Place is located near Ponda Goa. We selected it because it was close to Shantadurga & Mangeshi temples. It is located on a Hilly terrain & is Picturerous . Could have been better maintained, some of the taps are leaking or difficult to close. Mesh should be provided on Windows to prevent small insects from entering. Room service is bit slow.  Food is served by a contractor, service & quality of food is excellent.

Nice Place to Stay

The hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere. The only advantage probably would be the the proximity to the temples. The rooms are average with minimal facilities. Anyone interested in staying at this property please avoid the non-a/c rooms, they are simply pathetic. The Aircon rooms are much better in comparison. Expect a LOT of insects here owing to the surrounding forest area. We even saw a langoor and some species of birds. The restaurant is just okay, don't expect anything much. A lot of up and down walking to be expected. All in all an okay experience.

Average experience

The rooms are very old and not maintained well. Bathrooms are also poor with taps broken and unclean. Visitors have to climb around 30-40 steps to reach most rooms. Service is also extremely poor. All in all it is best avoided

Poor facilities and service

I am giving this hotel 3 stars because of the minimal facilities offered here. We reached late at night and it took some time for the night manager to wake up and check us in. I had called a day in advance to let them know that I would be checking in late but it was not noted down anywhere. 

We were led to our room, which was a bit of an uphill walk from the Reception. Although the bellman carried the bag, it wasn't fun doing this after a flight and a 45 minute taxi ride at almost midnight. 

The AC was not working in the best condition, although it did cool the room. The rooms were very big and clean. I wouldn't really call the rooms well-maintained but I would say that everything was working in a decent manner. The good thing was that we had hot water very early in the morning as we had to check out very early. My only objective of staying at this place for one night was to spend the few hours from landing in Goa till the next morning, which was accomplished and the price couldn't be beat. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for such a stop-gap measure. Otherwise, staying here for a vacation is not my cup of tea.

Good place

We stayed here only for 2 nights . Rooms were ok and clean . Hotel was quite big , lots walking involved gives a homely  feeling .surrounded by greenery , calm ambience.  Staff were friendly too . Overall we had a average experience , nothing extraordinary .
