Excellent experience. Thanks to the crew Sujit, Sony & Vipin for making our stay pleasant and comfortable. Every thing moved in a clockwork fashion. We enjoyed a luxurious and relaxing overnight stay. The food was delicious. The staff took great care of us.

Excellent & Wonderful Experience

It was amazing. Clean and lovely facilities. Great service and good food. A little more expensive than others but worth it for the facilities and service. A very relaxing experience and the boat was beautiful. Bring your own alcohol. Watermelon juice was amazing!

The day on the boat

We had 2 tours on Xandari Houseboat and both gave us incredible and uniq experiences, higher than expected! ✨
1st tour with friends took 6 hours. We have got coconut drinks 🥥 and had lunch with dessert 🍧 Local fish 🐟 was super tasty 👌 The package included switch to small boat to see narrow channels and life of local people. The houseboat crew was kind and took care of us.
2nd tour was a dinner with special decoration for our engagement 💍 It was surprise for my GF. Crew prepared all details according agreement and with love ❤️ We spend a night on the boat. Cabines are small, but have good standard and have everything what you need including huge, comfortable bed. All is clean ✨ We have continental, tasty breakfast with fresh fish 🐠 and the best fruits ever 🥭🍐🍉🍌

Houseboat for everyone and for any occasion

My boyfriend and I spent the whole day in the houseboat. Our cruise was made pleasant by the very nice crew. We got a very tasty coconut drink, lunch, dessert and coffee. We had the opportunity to visit the local area and see what water transport looks like. After the trip together, my boyfriend and now fiancé prepared a wonderful, unforgettable and unique engagement with the crew. The crew decorated the boat for us and created a very romantic atmosphere. We ate a delicious dinner, cake, drank very good wine and the next day we could count on a nutritious breakfast. The night on the boat was an exciting experience, the rooms are tidy and there is everything you need on the boat. We would like to thank Xandari Riverscapes for very thorough preparation of such an amazing event, and we would especially like to thank the crew: Kunjumon, Mahesh, Sujihchef and Shibumon for taking care of us and creating something that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Pallanayar memories 😊

The experience was seamless , well planned and there is nothing to complain. The staff - Prince, Sujith, Sijo, Soni are very well mannered and trained and all the safety measures were followed. Food quality was amazing and had a taste of real Kerala food among the backwaters.

Beautiful houseboat experience

A beautiful tranquil overnight stay.  We cruised down the backwaters, moored overnight and then cruised back the following morning.  We had the whole boat to ourselves with our own chef.

Xandari Riverscapes was an incredible experiences on the picturesque backwaters of Kerala which were highly recommended to us. Every aspect of the trip surpassed expectations from the quality of the hospitality, to the delish food that was freshly prepared onboard, to the beauty of the region, to the kayak trip we took through a local village. It was truly a remarkable experience that was both adventurous and romantic. It was a highlight of our time in the region. 

Incredibly Memorable and Beautiful Experience - Highly Recommend

One of the main attractions while touring Kochi (Cochin) India is to take a tour boat of the backwaters in this area, which is also called the "backwaters of Kerala".  While there are many different tour boat options for viewing the backwaters, our small group tour had selected  Xandari Riverscapes for a day trip on the water.  Our "small group" tour consisted of 20 persons and the Xandari Riverscapes house-boat that was provided for our group was both large and spacious.  The house-boat was manned by a crew of about 4 or 5 persons including the boat "captain" who safely drove the large house-boat through the water, and a couple of the crew members cooked lunch on-board for our tour group.  The lunchtime meal was plentiful and excellent quality.

Travelling through the backwaters, we could see how the "locals" are living their daily lives along the river banks - performing their daily tasks of washing their clothes in the river, fishing along the river and farming all along the river.  

The Xandari Riverscapes house-boat was an excellent choice for our tour group to view the backwaters, while enjoying the "comforts of home" aboard this clean and comfortable boat.

Unforgettable Eperience on a house boat

I had , staying on a houseboat, on my bucket list, and it did not disappoint. Pravin Jobby and his team set a new standard in customer service. From when we arrived they helped us feel comfortable and safe. The team on the boat catered to our every whim.  We enjoyed navigating the back waters and seeing a different point of view of India. We stopped for Fresh Tiger Prawns; the largest I have ever seen. These were cooked by the team on board for our dinner. The food served on board was the highest standard. My children are fussy eaters, avoiding fish normally, but they enjoyed all that was prepared. 

The actual houseboat is beyond luxurious. We had three air conditioned bedrooms with really comfortable beds. But our favourite part was the top lounge, which had a balcony were we could sit and people watch as we went from one stop to another. Very relaxing place to take afternoon naps 😜

We cannot recommend this enough. Thank you again Pravin Jobby and team. Look forward to coming back soon.
