I always prefer to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the crowd whenever we go for a vacation; and if it is a hill station, this requirement becomes a manadate. And Wood Creek Resort in Kasauli gave that complete comfort for this choice. Stay there, enjoy nature, enjoy that typical hilly atmosphere with the typical sound of jungle insects all through the day and of course the awesome rooftop at the night with the moonlight if you are lucky and eventually visiting the full moon time! All rooms of the hotels have almost same views; however, try to ask for the rooms away from the reception area to have better views of the valley. They also have one spa at their roof top which I didn't use; hence will not comment on it's quality. They have their own bar also. The staff is very courteous, the hotel's service is very prompt, and the rooms are very spacious compared to others in the same sector. All other amenities in the room, like an electric kettle, complimentary tea-coffee bags, and bathroom toiletries, are all there according to your needs. The only improvement they can make is to change their bathroom curtains to better quality and fittings so that the purpose of those can be served better. The food is very tasty and has sufficient variety. However, the options in the buffet breakfast should be increased. The hotel has its parking area and they have an expert chauffeur who helps you every time to park your car and bring that back to you whenever you are going out. Overall this is a great hotel in its category and you can make your choice without a second thought on it.
