I visited this camp on the first day of new year 2016. I wanted to visit on 31st of december but almost all camps were full and very costly that day. I booked this camp through ibibo and got a very good offer (3500 rs) for me and wife. I had booked a superior tent which was the best available. Sand dunes are just opposite the camp. The cultural show at night is good and entertaining to en extent. Food was also good. Overall good experience. Must visit once.!!!!

GOOD LOCATION AND AMENITIES, NICE EXPERIENCE

We visited last weekend to sam dunes, location of camp paradise is no doubt excellent but it is not that lively as nearby tents. Moreover all tent categories are almost same only, charging more for higher category is not worth of its cost. We were shifted to neighbors camp site for evening shows as it was having very low occupancy, food was also ok not upto the mark. After paying for the best tent also its bathroom's flush was not working, shampoo given was a single pouch that too the smallest available, towel given was only 1 and that too old and not properly washed, we do not expect much but atleast if they are charging for premium tent these all matters. Manager and staff were very helpfull for everything asked and were keen to serve. Overall not recommended as you can get many good option nearby in same or better rates.

They have 3 types of tents, if you are planning to book then book the top two & not the standard one.

We had booked standard tent but seeing the condition we paid extra to get it upgraded to luxury ones.

Food was below average & all the other activities in the package was average like most of the other camps provide in Sam sand dunes.

Service was very poor, there is just one staff for approx 15 to 20 tents(can't remember the exact number) so you can imagine....

When compared with the price you pay for your stay then I must say its a bad option as their starting price is arnd 5k.

If you are willing to pay little more than 5k for one night stay then there are much better options available.

Very Average ! Don't Book Standard Tent!!

We arrived at Sam Desert dunes on 17th evening at around 04:00 PM. As we enter the dune area, we were looking for a board that would say CAMP Paradise. Also, following the Google Maps as marked as Camp paradise on google maps. Our driver called a local person from the Sam desert area, and he said to us that the camp was closed. I call the number provided on Booking.com and ask the person on the other end and he says(lies), the camp is open. So we decided to proceed to the destination. To our horror, it wasn't there, no tents no camps, no boards saying Camp paradise, nothing. A person from the camp next to the place where the "CAMP paradise" should have been present says there is no camp paradise now, they only start in September. He spoke to the owner and made arrangements for us to stay at his resort. Thankful to this guy. We wouldn't have a place to stay the night and also, the Booking.com people would cut the amount from my account. I had to pay 14,000 Rs for a place that actually costs Rs.5000 per night, for 2 rooms. Extremely unprofessional behavior!

I want to highlight the difficulties that we faced in Camp Paradise. We arrived at around 6PM and was asked to settle down at some other resort adjacent to Camp Paradise (DSS Camp paradise having office in Gujrat) which was 10 minutes walking away by misrepresenting the fact. We were informed that Camp Paradise only have premium and standard rooms but not deluxe camps and they settle down their guest in adjacent resort which is an extension of Camp Paradise but that now not true. We had already paid the amount through you and it was almost late evening in desert area hence we were forced to agree to site manager and had to check in. On inquiring I came to know that extended camp is different spot with separate fencing and costed lesser then my booked amount. We booked for Rs. 7500 room but was offered degraded room. That is not all, the real issue that we faced was with services. After seeing itinerary that was shared by you, I had to prompt the ground staff minimum 5 times about the facilities that I have purchased. I had to ask for water, soap, blanket which was included my package. Just forget the dhol, nagara, aarti, welcome drinks and initial welcome. What else could you expect. I am really dishearten with the way things have happened and looking for some concrete solution so that other customers are not diseased with this falsification.
