Cleanliness- the best thing that sets this place apart. The room and bathroom were so hygienic and well maintained that this is definitely one of the cleanest hotels we have been to. The place is beautifully decorated and gives the vibe of the heritage of Jaisalmer. The restaurant is located on rooftop and the staff takes personal care to cater to all our needs. 
The only negative thing about the place is lack of elevators. Those with senior citizens or physically challenged need to be mindful of the stairs. Everything else was just perfect. 

One of the cleanest hotels ever seen

Lovely haveli homestay, beautifully decorated like your own house.  Owner Mr Raj is a gracious host, very helpful in recommending places to eat, shop and tours with great value.  Staff are very polite, friendly and helpful.  Our group of seniors thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nite stay at the Golden House.
Thank you Mr Raj for making our stay most memorable!  Highly recommended to those who appreciate local lifestyle homes.

Beautifully decorated haveli homestay

I highly recommend The Golden House Jaisalmer; one of the cleanest hotels I’ve seen in India. Everything was very tidy and clean. The rooms were very cozy and spotless. 
The staff was very kind, hospitable and helped us in every moment. They know how to make your Jaisalmer experience great. Their desert package with a camel ride and a night under the stars is superb!

Very clean and tidy hotel with an amazing desert tour package!

The only good thing about the hotel is the nice comfortable room. No complaints. The receptionist, if he was one, was sleeping in an alcove next to the counter. 
The hotel appears to cater primarily to Guajarati clientele. That it serves only vegetarian food was not a problem. The problem was the breakfast menu which remained the same for the two mornings we were there. We were offered stuffed paratha, poha and idli none of which we were able to eat. The idlis were too hard and the 'sambar' was just plain daal. The restaurant - on the roof - was dusty and we were told that the cleaning is done only after 11 am. 
Heaps of debris and garbage lie in front of the hotel to which the hotel itself contributes (two large garbage bins stand near the entrance). 


Not a pleasant stay.

We had an amazing stay at Golden House. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They made sure all of our needs were met and the food was absolutely amazing!! Shout out to the chef who kept us well fed our entire visit :) The rooms are also very spacious and clean. Definitely a great place to stay that is close to the fort, while staying in Jaisalmer. We hope to return one day. Thank you for everything!

Very Relaxing & Comfortable Stay

We booked Golden view after going through the reviews. Good experience. Rooms are fabulous. Hotel can be considered to be a well decorated, beautifully crafted Haveli. Cleanliness top notch with very supportive staff. Room was super spacious with great furnishings. They have roof top restatuant from which fort can be seen. Food is good and tasty and the staff prepares everything on demand. However the roof top was closed during our visit and we ordered vide room service. Complimentary breakfast was good and tasty but with limited options. Fixed menu, Can add more variety. But they make with care and quantity is very good. Overall very nice stay for 2 days. The property is very near to Hanuman Circle and has 3 good restaurants nearby. Close to all prominent places and fort is very very near. But, to sum up fantastic property and interiors. Very supportive front reception. Thank you and Three Cheers. Will definitely visit once in Jasialmer.

Good Property. Great Location

It was a great experience we stayed in a Suite Room, beautifully crafted property, soothing place cleaniless,hygience all under one roof and  food was delicious specially the Rajatsthani Thali, the owner is too good and down to earth.  Guided us so properly,Must visit place,Rooftop restuarant is too good. 5 star to this property.

Fabolous Stay,Property is so beautiful inside and outside.Must stay in The Golden House

We had stayed in this hotel few days back and found it  hotel with all needed facilities made available to guests at best prices of the town. We booked hotel only and rest being managed by Hotel for us. It had made our family stay very comfortable and facilities extended to us beyond stay hours which shows priority of hotel towards customer delight rather than only business.
Recommend it for family stay with good food planning for dunes overnight stay. That arrangement also nicely handled.
Mr.Mukesh customer handling is wonderful and a thing to learn from him during stay.

Courteous staff and best customised offerings

It was a great experience. The rooms are good. Mr. Manish and the staff is very polite, helpful. They have a rooftop restaurant which has the view of the fort. The cook here is amazing who cooked for us delicious authentic Jaisalmer food. They arranged for our dessert camp. Location of the hotel is good and close to the fort.

Great Place

It was quite a memorable time which I spend at the hotel as the rooms were very spacious and the service provided by the staff is also remarkable.
And the food which was served was also delicious, and in terms of basic facilities I would say it was an amazing Hotel.
