Don’t be fooled by the “2-star hotel” categorisation on Google (not to be confused with the star rating from reviews, which are consistently excellent across all channels) - the Fort Bungalow is a real hidden gem. Joseph made me feel welcome from the second I arrived and gave me good recommendations for restaurants and shopping spots around the area. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and has everything you need. Most importantly I felt a true guest house vibe - not just the lush greenery in the lobby, but in every detail. My room was on the 2nd floor which had a lovely little seating area and mini library right outside my door. I unfortunately didn’t stay for long, as my flight departure was early in the morning, but I really appreciated Joseph’s help with my luggage down the stairs and making sure I got into the cab safely - all at 1am! I will definitely be back - I don’t intend to ever stay anywhere else in Fort Kochi. Thanks for a lovely stay!
