Sea Land Beach Home

The rooms were very spacious and each had its own bathroom with a western-style toilet and a shower. The staff were extremely helpful - they gave us a lot of good tips for trips in the area, organised a great backwaters tour and we could even use their kitchen to cook our own food (or you can order from a local restaurant and the staff will pick it up for you). The guesthouse is located about 10 meters from the beach which admittedly won't be among the most beautiful you have seen, but it is fine for swimming and wonderful for walking at dusk. Highly recommended!

We went there with a group of 11 friends and had an amazing stay there. Managers paid a lot attention to our confort. Rooms are fully equiped for a very good quality/price. They recommended us nice restaurant and house boat. I trully recommend !

This quest house is very new, so the managers are super helpful, very nice and they will do almost anything for your convenience. 
Rooms are big, cool, with big beds,  mosquito nets, clean bathrooms. 
You can cook in one kitchen, or you can order food from restaurant Mushroom which is very good.  
Only the beach has sometimes petrol taints, but you can take taxi from guesthouse to marari beach, which is clean and very beautiful.  
It is young,  it is cheap and managers are really good.  Go for it 😊

We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Land. The staff were really helpful and friendly, even teaching us some of the local language. The room was really big and sooo close to the beach you might as well be on it!  They have a lovely sandy garden, with hammocks to relax in. Really worth it, especially considering the excellent price.

A great value and very friendly atmosphere

Amazing stay at Sea Sand Beach 

Pleasant managers 

Beach 

Our room was South facing, so very hot, even with the fan on full. It was reasonably clean, but very basic indeed. Only one power point for example, and no mirror in the bathroom, which had only cold water. Not that hot water is needed in such a climate of course. The water was plenty warm enough for showers. The water that came out of the tap contained large swimming organisms including bloodworms. Where this water is drawn from I don't know, but the nearby canal would be my guess. The people who run the place are friendly and helpful. The charge for laundry was reasonable, and it was done quickly. The trips they arranged for us were competitively priced, with safe and reliable cars and drivers too. There are a couple of friendly cafe/restaurant type places nearby which are good for watching the sunset from their rooftop terraces, and dolphins can often be spotted. Sadly the beach is not kept clean and the dog population is seriously out of control. This part of it is however happily unaffected (so far) by the motorway construction work that is blights the Southern part of the beach, and despite its shortcomings is probably the best section of the beach to stay on.
