Lovely cute cottage with brilliant amenities. The kitchen space is perfect as is the sofa and smart TV. The beds are exceptionally comfortable and the underfloor heating ensures a comfortable temperature throughout the whole building. The bathroom is well stocked with local top of the range products and the female sanitary products are a lovely thoughtful touch. Margrét was a great communicator too, we would highly recommend the cottages to anyone in the area

Superb cottage, superb location

We had a short stay here but it became one of the top highlights of our trip as it was dark enough that we saw an incredible display of the Northern Lights from the back of the cabin. The cabin was very comfortable and having two bedrooms was great.
There was a kitchen with the necessary amenities. It's a great location for a morning flight (12km away). The only issue we had was that the lights on the outside of the cabin came on as the Northern Lights appeared and we could not turn them off. We moved to the back field and it was fine but we would have loved to have continued watching them from the deck.

Away from it all and the Northern Lights

Very nice stand alone comfortable, clean house with all necessities (dish washer, toaster, kettle etc.) for a long or short stay in Gardur (near Keflavik airport, close to Blue Lagoon) with a lighthouse and ocean view. 


Cosy little house 

We stayed here twice, for one night each during our trip to iceland. First when we landed and second time the day before we left. The place is very close to the airport, at the far end of Gardur (aprox 10 km, travel time 15 min). Its not expensive. we stayed at their 3 bedroom ground floor apparent for 5 persons. the place was clean and spacious with all cooking facilities. Large bathroom.They provide basic toiletries. we did not find any faults, except that the reception is at the lighthouse Inn nearby and there is no internal phone to contact the reception.

Nice place, not expensive, but close to airport

Very close to the airport. Small studio apartment with great facilities and warm. Bedding, towels, crockery WiFi, sky tv, hair dryer. Very attentive manager. Parking directly outside. Gardur is very small has a local supermarket with very friendly staff,but a great place as a base to explore. Lighthouse 2 mins away and has a cafe with small menu choices but tasty food served by friendly staff.

Cosy & warm 

We spent there our first and our last night in Iceland.
The house was really nice and pretty big, comfy, warm and well equipped.
Just 15 min. from Klefavik airport, unfortunately I didn’t had the chance to see the place with daylight but I think it’s a really pretty spot.
