Golden Sun

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing little hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have been visiting Kos since I was 15, and Tigaki has a special place in my heart. I am a solo traveller in my mid twenties, who stayed at the Golden Sun for 4 nights in September. The owner of the hotel, George, is so lovely and could not have been more helpful. George kindly answered my many questions that I had before and during my stay. The hotel is in a great location, and my room was huge. It had everything I needed including plenty of storage space, a kitchen area, hairdryer, aircon etc. The room was very clean, with fresh towels always being provided. The grounds itself, are lovely and there is a lovely pool and snack bar which there was always people at. As a returning solo traveller, I have always felt safe in Tigaki, but finding a hotel I feel safe in is just as important and I felt so safe within this hotel. The staff always say hello and have a smile on their face. A special shoutout to the woman behind the desk (did not catch her name). My phone broke on my first day, which was a worry with just being by myself and having no contact to home. She kindly booked me a taxi into Kos town so I could go to Vodafone and this was fixed. On departure, my flight was not until midnight, but George was kind enough to give me a late checkout of 2pm and there is showers available to get ready. I would 100% return to this hotel.
