After a week on the beautiful island of Sifnos, we were a little sad to leave but had high expectations of Milos, where we had booked Flora's rooms for 5 nights, in Pollonia. 

We were greeted with a lovely welcome from Rula, who showed us to our sugar cube room facing the bay, it is absolutely stunning. A modern room with all the charm of traditional Greece captured inside, we were thrilled to be here. Once inside, there was a beautifully presented tray of goodies, to include fruit, biscuits, jams, toasts, tea, coffee pods that was so kindly exchanged for me as I'm caffeine intolerant. A bottle of wine awaited us as a welcome gift.

The room was a high spec, and so was the daily cleaning regime with towels changed daily (possibly the bed linen too, I'm not that observant) water in the fridge and the tray of goodies topped up. It looked as immaculate on day 5 as it did on day 1.

Over the small road was the beach, Pollonia doesn't have sunbeds, but Flora does - there are 6 for guests to use which are stacked away after use, and a few tables and chairs on the pavement to sit overlooking the bay with a morning coffee or an evening tipple.

The shower room is compact but modern. The shower itself is very powerful with hot water always and a bonus for Greece - no shower curtain sticking to your legs as you wash.

If I had one small idea to improve our room, it would be to incorporate a kitchen sink for washing plates and cups, which proved difficult in the bathroom sink as I was nervous with the glass / porcelain against the porcelain sink, luckily no breakages this time. Additionally, a small bin for waste not associated with the bathroom waste would be useful.

All in all, we loved our stay at Flora's Rooms, everyone was so friendly and helpful, Flora and Rula both made us feel so welcome the whole time, the place is gorgeous, Pollonia has great restaurants, the ferry to Kimolos is here (go for a day to see what Milos was like 20 years ago) and we visited many resorts on Milos on our scooter,  Pollonia for us was hands down the best choice we could have made.

we loved staying here. the staff were charming, our accommodation was amazing. right in the centre of pollonia, just opposite the sea, which we swam in every morning before breakfast. just fantastic. thank you so much.

One of the best places we've ever stayed in! Beautiful rooms, very clean, very good service. The position is excellent! Beach front with beach area reserved to the guests.  The owners are lovely people and very helpful! If I ever come back to Milos I will definitely stay at Floras Rooms again. 

Excellent experience 

This is a dream come true! Flora and her family are so gracious and generous. When i saw the room a tear of happiness took over me. The view of the ocean from the  edroom window a couple of step away. Everything is close by. Great restaurants by the water . This is a place i would go back if i went back to Milos.

A dream come true!

Before he had even got to the island of Milos, Flora had already been a great help in organising a taxi to pick us up from Adames port and take us to the Flora’s. As soon as the taxi pulled up at Flora’s Rooms, my husband and I knew we were going to enjoy our stay. Flora and her son greeted us with a warm welcome when we got out the taxi.
 It was mid morning when we arrived so we could not check in but that was no bother at all. Flora’s Rooms is situated metres from the beach and the bars and restaurants are a 3 minute walk away. There is a part of the beach that Flora reserves with sun loungers for guests only. 
 The room itself was lovely. There’s a fridge, coffee machine, kettle and toastie maker all in the room. The AC worked perfectly. 
 During our time here, Flora and her family could not do enough for us. I’d highly recommend this lovely place to anyone visiting Milos and wanting to stay in Pollonia.

Perfect!

Roula and her family are very nice, and helpful to answer your questions. They are in a great area of Milos, right on the beach, and near the dock where you can take a day trip on a boat exploring the island. Right near them up the street, there are a ton of restaurants with the most amazing food. 
The rooms itself are very clean, and cute. There is a small fridge, and kettle, small clean bathroom and A/C that works like a charm. Come here if you are looking for a nice clean hotel, in a great location.

Great location, friendly family, clean and quaint rooms

We stayed here for two nights. Much cheaper than most places nearby, a lovely room with en suite, and the beach 5 meters away over the other side of an incredibly quiet road. Full aircon and double glazing meant that the road did not bother us at all.
Flora was lovely and helpful. She keeps the place spotless. All in all a brilliant place to stay for an excellent price.

Lovely room, nice position, friendly welcome.

Flora is really a gentle host.
Room is very clean and tidy, large, comfortable and cozy!
Position is perfect: in the center of Pollonia but far enough (2 minutes walk) to avoid the noise of the restaurants in the evening; it’s also in the front of the beach, you need just to cross the street to be on the sand.
The only point we had is that bed was not very comfortable, “too soft”!


Nice!

I stayed here Mid September for 4 nights. The location is the best you could wish for. The rooms are quaint and decorated in a traditional Greek manor which I liked very much. Although located on the road from Pollonia to Apollonia it is very quite, minimal traffic. The beach a stride away. The lady is very helpful and friendly. The centre of Pallonia with the bars and restaurants is a two minute walk away. You will like this place.

Very Nice

I stayed here for one night with my partner having found a review on trip advisor. The room is right on the main road with water views and despite being so close to the road was quiet and peaceful. 

Rosa personally greeted us on arrival and made us feel welcome. She also gave us great local knowledge.

The rooms are small, tidy and quaint. They are excellent value for money and if you are looking for well priced out of the hustle and bustle accommodation then Rosa's is perfect!
