We decided to visit Skopelos for 24 hours whilst holidaying in Skiathos and booked the apartment the day before travel with booking.com, communication was good, the apartment itself was clean and functional just a little dated,ours had a lovely little balcony to enjoy breakfast bought from the bakery just outside on the street. Beware that it is quite a steep climb up from the port but if you don't mind hills, you'll be fine.

For the price we payed at short notice, it can't be faulted

Great budget choice to explore Skopelos 

My partner Allison and myself travelled to Skopelos from skiathos to extend our vacation. 
We booked through booking.com last minute caught the ferry arrived and was greeted by a friendly young man (assuming the son) as it is a family run place. 
The studio is impeccably clean. It's well situated.  And has everything you need. Even maid service which we didn't expect only staying 2 nights. 

Yanis (the owner??) Is welcoming friendly and very accommodating even offering extra service of not just holding our luggage so we could still explore but actually delivered our luggage to the port for us. 

Made a fantastic stay even better.

Fantastic hospitality

The studio I stayed in was nr11 and it had a balcony with fruit trees that contributed with shade. The studio might therefor be a little bit dark during the day but who stays in the studio at daytime when on holiday?
When I came home in tge afternoon the studio was always cool because of the shade. Outside the house there is a beautiful and well taken care of, garden. The family that runs Stella Smile Studios is very kind, serviceminded and nice. The studio is a bit uphill in Skopelos town, however the owners give you good advice on how to get there in the easiest way. They also picked me up and drove me down to the port. They clean and change towrls every day except sundays and it is obviously that the family cares for their guests and for the property.
 I will for sure stay here again my next stay on Skopelos. However if you have problems walking a bit uphill maybe this place isn't for you.

A wonderful and very priceworthy place!

The host is very friendly. When we checked in she offered us to choose from 3 rooms available. And she gave information about surrounding places. The place lies uphill so be prepared for this when you come with luggage, but it’s actually not far from the town.  For the  amazing price I really have no complaints!

Probably the best budget choice in whole Skopelos

Delightful traditional, bright & clean accommodation. 

Superb location, very close to the centre. 

Spiros and the team were so welcoming and helpful, with many local recommendations & travel advice.

Great value for a single traveler & open even in low season.

Greek adventure

This was a great place for our stay in Skopelos. Evi and Yiannis were pleasant and accommodating, and were willing to go out of their way to make our stay great. The room had all of the amenities needed including a cooking and eating space.

We stayed here as it was part of our holiday staying around the Greek islands.
We only booked 2 nights. We were pleasantly surprised as we got picked up by the man and taken to the apartment which was basic but ok for what we were there for. 
We decided we liked skopelos so much we asked evi if we could stay a few more nights. She said no problem. We asked for price but she said don’t worry we will sort this later. Day or so went by and we hadn’t seen the owners. Room hadn’t been cleaned which it didn’t state room was cleaned every day so wasn’t too much of a problem. When the room was cleaned the perfume we had left on the bathroom shelf above the sink was not there. We searched the apartment, our cases, everywhere and could not find this perfume. We decided to tell evi about this. She was very apologetic at first and said she will have a word with the cleaner. She rang us half an hour later as we had nipped into town and said she has the cleaner here and she hasn’t seen this perfume. Asked us what this looked like . We explained and she then asked how long we will be we said we will be back in about a 20mins she said she will be there to discuss more. When we arrived back she was no where to be seen and I went into our room and someone had been in there and ransacked the place. I had left a trap in my suitcase that had been moved so I knew then someone had been in my case !  I was not happy at all. We called evi back and told her we were going. She never asked why and never asked how anything was although I knew she knew we weren’t happy we paid what we owed and left

Very disappointed

Before we arrive in Skopelos we contacted the hotel asking if somebody could collect us from the port. They sounded very kind on the phone and keen to assist us. However, they arrived late on motorbikes and told us that the room we booked was not available. They took us on a different hotel that was disgusting and left us there. We contacted expedia to ask for support and after making contact with the hotel, they told us that there was a three-beds studio available ad they would provide this to us. When I contacted the hotel stuff to arrange the move to the other room they started shouting at me on the phone asking why I contacted expedia to complaint. During our 4-days stay we changed two studios - both very unkempt. The towels and the sheets visibly old. The shower curtain in the first room with mould - the second room did not even have a shower curtain. There was not even hand soap in the rooms. Even when it was clear that somebody had been in the room to clean, there was no visible sign or smell of cleanliness. In the photos attached it shows that they used an old rug to prevent the light coming through the door. Mrs Evi and her family were nice on the first day but since we contacted expedia they were avoiding us, not greeting us and their manners were rude - very unprofessional customer service. Wi-fi was free but most of the time was not working. Once another customer told the stuff that there was no hot water and stuff tried to convince them otherwise.

Unpleasant experience - not recommended

The room was spacius and confortable, only the bathroom was a little narrow and its furniture were not in perfect condition.The owners were very kind with us and solved a couple of little problems that arised during our stay.The building is located on a little hill about 10 minutes on foot from the port, the slope isn't very steep however it's a hill and you have to climb it to return home.

Cheap apartment in Skopelos

We saw a mouse running on the balcony. When we informed the owners they did not believe us!The walls, the curtains, the closet were falling apart. While being in the shower you had to wait until the other apartments finished their in order to have hot water. While the specific hotel politics was not to charge the credit card and use only cash, they intentionally charged the credit card 2 days before the department with not any prior notice at all!
