We loved our stay here, the large suite was just perfect for our stay, the beach literally a short hop over the road into the warm Cretan Sea, the view from the double balcony was fantastic. Fira and the team can’t do enough for you, always friendly and smiling, always happy to help with anything, they make they stay even more of a happy experience, we can’t thank you all enough! The pool area, like the entire apartment set up is immaculate and clean, we didn’t use the pool as it was far too cold given the time of year and the morning sun didn’t hit the pool for more than a couple of hours early in the morning, but it is a lovely area. The bar is a relaxing space, nice decor, great views over the sea, friendly staff, a good selection of drinks and snacks. Breakfast was great, pastries, fresh yoghurt, fruits, cereals, toast, omelettes, had everything you need for a good start to the day (not an English sausage in sight, perfect!) The town of Rethymno is about 1.4 miles walk along the front, the old town is a beautiful place to explore, plenty of history, architecture, and culture to been experienced here, some great eateries and bars too. A first visit to Greece and Crete, we weren’t disappointed, the cretan people are super friendly, it felt such a safe and comfortable place to be, and a world away from the storms back in the UK, 27 degrees in October was just great!! Thanks to the staff, we’d love to return one day!
