The hotel is very nice in nearly all respects. However, our single-night stay was a bit subpar, as we didn't get a full rest. Our room (#501) was located under a service area, with workers frequently using a heavy door that was opening/shutting very frequently starting at 7 am. The door shut noise was very audible and woke us up. The management should fix this issue, or warn their customers about it.

After a few years of staying in this hotel, we have decided never to return. The hotel is tired and in great need of refurbishment. This is by no means a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was adequate, (no fresh fruit of course), the staff were polite and kind enough, but the state of the bedding, carpets, lights (broken) and sad bathroom facilities really made us quite certain we will not go back. It’s a shame as the location is brilliant, we will miss that but nothing else. 

A pity

I booked a room for 2 for my family in this hotel for  couple of nights. They were very satisfied with the room, the stuff and the services. They believe there could be a bit more variety in breakfast but all in all it was a very enjoyable stay.

An enjoyable stay in a great hotel in the city center

This hotel is ideally located on the edge of the city, a few minutes walk to the main shopping area. It overlooks the sea at the front and mountains at the back.  Breakfast is good. Rooms are clean and tidy. Only downside is there is no food in the evenings, and there are not many place to eat a meal close by, especially over the weekend. Staff are friendly and polite. There is safe parking if you pay extra.

Weekend visit

Clean and nice hotel. Breakfast was adequate. Fresh fruit and juice was missing, even though it was season for all things local. From the restaurant there was a good view. Internet was a bit lousy. The street has some traffic.

Comfortable hotel with good bed

Great location, near everything. I had booked a mountain-view room and, at check in we were offered a sea-view room for an additional €16, which I accepted. Good choice because the room has a good balcony with outstanding view of the sea, the port, the whole scenery. Very ample room, very well set up (the only inconvenience is that it does not have a coffee maker. I never use them, but I know some people would have liked one.) This is a very good hotel, well decorated, very well kept and well managed by nice and friendly staff. Breakfast on the top floor is good, better than other hotels and with a nice view of the sea. Very good place, totally recommend it.

Best hotel in Patra

The rooms looking out to the sea are spacious, comfy, well equipped and of course the vew is unbeatable. Not a lot of parking but you can find something around( specially if you arrive late). The personal is friendly and sufficient. The center of Patras is 5 min walk.
That’s why the old and not comfortable bed looks like an oddity.

It could a little better

Stayed here overnight with my wife having stayed with a friend last year. Secure car parking which is essential for the motorbike. We had the view out the front over the harbour which was nice. Shame there weren't any large cruise ships in at the time.  Beautiful hotel well maintained although slightly dated. Still feels 5-star. Rooftop bar is fantastic. Good local bars and restaurants in the town thanks to a rejuvenation of the local economy. Well worth a visit. Staff excellent and fully understanding.
 One drawback is that the hotel has coach loads arrived late in the evening and leave early in the morning and can decimate the breakfast buffet. But they replenish it quickly.

The best in the area

The photos of the rooms have nothing to do with reality. In addition, it's very hard to find a parking spot nearby, the TV was old technology and small, the free Wi-Fi was very slow and was being disconnecting constantly. I do not recommend, unless it's the only option if you cannot find another hotel to stay.
