The room was spacious and extra clean. Heated was included in the price; never felt cold.
The force multiplayer is the awesome staff. these guys worth more than 5 stars rating!!!!

Overall, it was like home were you do nothing, everything was taken care of by the host!!!

Amazing view, amazing spot on earth,and amazing Dina who was helpful and kind under my week long stay at Papigo towers. Go enjoy the nearby natural mountain pools.My best recommendations to this hidden mountain gem.

Hidden gem in the mountains.

I can talk about this place whole day , the location is amazing and the view stunning 😍, konstantinos our host he is the best he make our staying unforgettable, the breakfast is amazing the yogurt was homemade and super taste everything excellent the room is like museum you don't want to leave and go from room with fireplace and warm bed ❤️💫♥️

Best place best breakfast

Amazing lunch with a breathtaking view! The building and its tiered terraces - all in hewn stone - overlook the gorge and are crowned by soaring peaks (snow covered in early Dec). The interior ambiance is a perfect blend of traditional, vernacular architecture and modern design. The fireplace fire added a homey feel. The menu was of a breath and scope that showcased regional and local products. Everything was cooked to perfection! The service was impeccable - flowing and friendly without being obtrusive. We felt at home (LGBTQ-friendly was to us a very important dimension). We give it our highest recommendation!

Farm-to-table lunch with breathtaking views

Excellent hotel! Very clean, beautiful room with traditional deco and the owner is very helpful to whatever you need for a comfortable stay! Needless to speak for location and view!! Food is great too!! 

Wonderful stay!! 

We spent 3 nights at Papigko Towers and it was definitely worth it! The hotel harmonically matches the scenery, built in stone, similar to the whole traditional village. The terrace offers the most breathtaking view. To top the experience off, the room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and kind,and helped us feel comfortable, despite the whole pandemic...

An amazing place if you want to escape and are looking for an alternative to the sea (sometimes the mountains help, especially during those very hot days).
Definitely looking forward to visiting back again in winter to appreciate the scenery, having the fireplace lighten. 

Excellent place

A traditional tastefully decorated hotel situated in the perfect place for those wanting to ascend the mountain.The rooms were very clean and comfortable.Giota who runs the place was extremely polite and helpful .The breakfast we were served was comprised of traditional products and the coffee amazing!!!cant wait to stay again in this hotel and relive the experience!!!!

Amazing hotel

The hotel is right at the side of the gorge (camila peak) so the rooms have a very nice view. The staff was very welcoming, especially the manager Giota. We will definitely visit again!

PS: The restaurant is also worth visiting. We had an excellent goat dish and complementary traditional cherry sweet (glyko tou koutaliou)!

Fully enjoyable stay!

Staying at Papigo Towers was truly one of the most beautiful, relaxing and pleasant vacations we have ever had! As a couple looking to get away from the city life and enjoy the tranquility, natural beauty and culinary experience that this region has to offer, we were perfectly pleased and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who hasnt experienced this side of Greece.

Perfectly situated in the cute small village of Mikro Papigo, it is relatively easy to reach (5 mins from bigger, more touristy village of Megalo Papigo) and offers stunning views of the mountains around, wonderful staff and excellent service, best (hands down) food in the area, and wonderful, beautifully decorated rooms to relax after a refreshing day full of hikes, exploring nature and enjoying the littles cafes and restaurants that the wider area has to offer. Here is some more info, just because we loved this place so much:

Food:
Starting with food, because well...its important! I am 100% Greek, and let me tell you, the restaurant of Papigo Towers has the best food in the area, no doubt. The ingredients, the variety of dishes (cheeses, pies, salads, soups, lamb..), everything you got was finger-licking delicious, to the point that we ended up eating there most of the times (we stayed for 7 days). Breakfast is also royal, with lots of great food brought to you which you can enjoy with a splendid view of the mountains around. We also enjoyed the chef Dimitris, who has quite the personality!

Staff & Service: 
Just excellent, setting the bar really high for how customer service truly should be! The hotel is owned by three young brothers and together with the staff, who you will probably all meet within the first couple of days, they make for a strong team available to help you with anything you need (they speak great English too), very friendly and attentive, and genuinely warm people who make you feel like home. Important to note here our experience, when we were stranded in the end of our stay at the hotel for 2 extra days, because of a massive snowstorm that hit that area. During this very stressful time, where we had no way of driving back due to the road conditions and our plans for the following days had to be cancelled, the hotel staff proved their true worth, by always being there for us to help us find solutions and options, and in the end even offering us to stay the extra night as we didnt have anywhere to go. We were just amazed at the quality of service, and most importantly, of the beautiful character of these people. 5 stars!

Things to do in the area: 
If you are a lover of nature and exploring around, while also looking to have a relaxing time away from the city, then this is the place for you. The area has many hiking trails for you of different length and difficulty for all tastes, with just amazing views of the mountains and the gorge around. The traditional villages in the area are all small and cute, offering great local food and things to see, such as monasteries, bridges, and the Vikos Gorge (which you can also hike down to - recommended). The river of Voidomatis with its crystal clear waters is just a work of nature (also a UNESCO protected site), and there are walking paths to take next to it, including while horseback-riding or on a rafting boat if you are feeling adventurous (super cool!). 

Overall, couldnt recommend this place more, it is so precious! And spending Christmas/New Years there was an added bonus, as the whole snowy environment, with the crackling fireplace, the delicious food and wine, and the wonderful staff that we all became friends with, made this an unforgettable experience and one of the best vacations ever. Looking forward to going back during a different season such as spring/summer, to see the nature in full bloom and possibly take a swim in the river :)

One of the best vacations ever!

Excellent food, amazing view and great hospitality and music. The waiter was absolutely there for our every need and he was very pleasant. Totally recommend it! We visited a lot of restaurants around the area and this one is at the top of our list.
