I'm thrilled with my decision to stay at this great hotel! It's exactly next to the bus station, they clean the room everyday, the breakfast is awesome and it has the kindest staff I've ever seen, which is willing to help you and inform you about the island any time ! Thank you for our beautiful stay !

Best value for money hotel with the kindest staff!

Kostas and his staff, especially the guy working in the afternoon shift, they were amazing! They helped us a lot, giving us very useful recommendations.
They also arranged a boat tour which was interesting for discover different spots on the island!
Perfect location, just a few metres from the bus stop, is certainly the place to stay in Santorini!

Amazing stay!

Here is my experience at Santorini Hotel:
Booking was easy, online through Expedia
Hotel has about 24 rooms, so not a massive hotel
We arrived late at night, almost 11PM;
Taxi ride from the Airport was 10min, and cost €20, for two people. You can probably ride the bus as well, probably cost less than €2, but you have to know the bus stops etc. we didn’t, so we took a Taxi; You find Taxis right outside the gate.
Check-in at Hotel was a breeze; you meet one person at the Desk, you pay local tax (50 cent) at check in. He shows you on map where you are and all the places togo, how to take Buses.
The Bus Station is right outside the Hotel, so very convenient.

I wouldn’t take restaurant recommendation from the front desk seriously. We tried one the guy recommended, and it wasn’t good at all. But he isn’t to blame.

There are a couple of free roaming friendly dogs, i suppose they belong to the village or someone who works there, who knows. You can play wit them if u like pets.

The key for the rooms include a plastic card that once you’re inside, slip it into a slot on the wall, and that makes eletricity available for that room. If you don’t slip that card in, nothing works. Everytime you leave the room, tou have to remove it and take it with you.

Rooms were awesome, given how small the hotel is; Air conditioning works, split unit a/c unit, controller by remote control. The Hotel I had in Paris about 5 days ago, Hotel Fiat, didn’t have a/c unit, so this was a relief. In September, temperature is cool, so you may not use the a/c at all.

If you have togo to the airport early in the morning, you have to schedule a pickup Taxi with the Front Desk before you goto bed. Front desk opens at 9am the next day, so when you walk out of your room earlier, 6am like I did, you will not find any front desk person. You just drop your key on the window and walk out..the door is always open. I am assuming there is literally no crime on this island.

Nice hideaway

The place is exactly where you want to be on Santorini, perfect location within Fira and right next to the bus station and tour guide offices to get you anywhere you want to on Santorini. The team is extremely friendly and helpful.

Great location and service

Nice hôtel with swimming pool but if you come for the view, it is not the one
We spent one night in another hotel cheaper before, without swimming pool but with an outstanding view and we regret to have changed

Palace hotel Santorini

Stayed for three nights in September.  The hotel is great for the budget conscience traveller and is well located, right next to the mains terminus, very handy indeed!   

The rooms are functional and are simply furnished.  The shower is tiny with a horrid shower curtain that has a habit of wrapping itself around you at every turn.  I had only a hand held shower contraption so taking a proper shower was not an easy task! 

I paid in advance for breakfast.  In hindsight, the restaurant next door offers a better breakfast for less.  I know for next time.   The breakfast room/bar has no smoking signs and yet everyone seems to smoke inside including the reception area; this can be annoying to a non smoker! 

This little hotel has so much potential!  A good clean, fix up the bathrooms and sort out the breakfast area and you will have a winning formula!

I must say Kostas was most helpful and really made sure all our excursions were taken care of, thank you again.

budget hotel

First of all, I want to warn others that some of the reviews under this hotel are NOT for this hotel.

On arrival, the hotel seemed fine.  I want you to know that I am not a picky person and often stay at basic hotels.  This hotel was a total nightmare.  At the time I booked this hotel, I was under the impression there was wifi available.  So I went ahead and booked it.  I was told the wifi was being fixed.  The next day I went to ask again and they said again it was "being fixed".  After several days, the hotel staff realized that they could not lie anymore.  There just isn't wifi.  They said "TOO BAD, WELCOME TO GREECE".  It was impossible to plan my trip, keep in touch with my family, and without access to the internet. 

The when I entered my room there was no shower curtain.  We thought this must be a mistake.  When we asked for a shower curtain they said there are no shower curtains because of the renovations.  What do renovations have to do with the shower curtain?  So each time we showered the entire bathroom flooded.  Again, total mess, total nightmare.

The staff at this hotel are so stupid and useless.  They had no answer when I asked them to explain why the hotel lies about the inclusions listed on the website.  I could not ask them for any trip advice or tips because I could see how stupid and useless they were.  

This hotel also didn't clean the rooms daily,  One day we ran out of toilet paper and we asked for more and we told "it is not possible".  Why is nothing possible at this disgusting place?!  You run a hotel where nothing is possible?  

We often come back late at night.  There were roaches running around in the hallways.

This is not a real or proper hotel.  I write this review as a warning.  I always check hotel reviews before I book a hotel and this hotel had good reviews and I don't understand how.  They have nothing included in the hotel listing, the staff are completely stupid and useless.  

The only good thing about this hotel was that it is close to the bus station.  Other than that it was a complete disaster.  The staff was rude, stupid, and useless, the bathroom flooded, there are roaches, and there was no wifi

STAY AT THIS DREADFUL HOTEL IF YOU WANT TO RUIN YOUR TRIP

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE - NIGHTMARE HOTEL!!!

The alleged Hotel Solaris in Fiera was horrible. Rooms were awful and service was unprofessional and rude. We were a group of 18 and were treated with utmost disrespect. Santorini is beautiful, this place is THE WORST!!!
