I spent 3 nights in July 2020, i want to advice this hotel, in Calypso Hotel you can have good time and relax!  I booked direct via mail and they made me a good price and as i arrived late night they organised a taxi pick up service from Thessaloniki airport!

Rooms are clean and spacious, with a nice balcony!
Swimming pool and relax areas.
Location is direct in the centre and few minuts walking to the beach! Restaurants around the property!
Last but not least everybody working here are very friendly and helpfull!
I will come back to beautiful Hanioti and i will stay here!

Perfect location! Good Price-quality

Stay away! A wifi router worth 20$ on every corner cannot be the limiting reason for a good connection in 21st century. A simple issue as that cannot be neglected for any building/company calling itself a hotel!

poor wifi

To be entirely honest the hotel room may have been clean but it was very old. tv is ancient and beds are extremely small. I think they should invest some money into upgrading some aspects of it so it can be abit more enjoyable. There is also no lift if you stay on top level.

 Not the best for the money you pay 

Very nice hotel for it's value. The staff is friendly, rooms are good and the pool area is nice. Located near the main road and next to the walking area it is quiet so one can rest. As for parking you might have to search for a spot so it is best to park as soon as you find a place.

Cool hotel

good budget hotel, quite fresh. very bad breakfast. We had breakfast included but left the breakfast and ate in town instead.
the hotel is right at the entrance of the city. it's a bit to go to the beach.


good hotel but i would not visit it again

Take a room on the floor, its okay and clean. Not so good service for breakfast... 

Cleaning lady do not take trash out even it was in bags.

Pool is clean on scale(1-100): 67%

The prices are high for that kind of hotel.

Good looking rooms

Where do I start!
Photos of the pool suspended on the roof are photo shopped.
Now been removed from the sight since my husband commented on trip advisor.
The pool, once you get into the deep middle it is very difficult to get out - no steps or hand rails.
On arrival no one wants to greet you, or help you with baggage. Room key is pushed across the counter and you are given the room number and it is fend for yourself.
Luckily we new that the first no. was your floor .
Breakfast was a surprise, the WHOLE staff here were very welcoming.
I viewed an elder couple booking in, whom had an adult special child with them.
3 cases and the mum was supporting the adult child to the lift, while the elderly husband tried to push all 3 bags to the lift. Not one person on the desk offered to help them!
Is there a policy here that they don't help, this needs to be reviewed.
There are so many small niggley things wrong with this place.
Strange way of changing beach towels? To name one. Also cable TV is a joke, no sound on the only movie channels in English and wi fi in the hallways not in the rooms.
Look if you want to gamble this place do so but Do Not expect 4Star!
