Simple Hotel Hersonissos Blue

We arrived around 10 pm and politely asked for a quiet room to spend our wedding anniversary. The guy Costa at the reception offered us dinner and drinks first and promissed to think of such room. After we had dinner Costa led us to a neighbouring hotel Blue Bay that was 50 miters away from "Simple Blue" right at the sea. He showed us two rooms and allowed to choose the one we liked better. We chose an apartment-type room on a ground floor with a fridge, kitchen supplies, TV, huge terrace, double bed, an iron - everything necessary for a comfortable stay. We had free internet in the room, our utilities worked, we had hot water 24 hours, our apartment got cleaned every day, they regurlarly chanched the sheets and towels - we do not have any complaines about room service. As we spent more time exploring the island very often we left the hotel early in the morning and got back late at night. So, they served us breakfast at 5 am and we could have dinner after 10pm. People at the reception were always very friendly and helpful - Costa gave us a map, provided with necessary information. It was very comfortable to stay in Blue Bay and hang out in Simple Blue. Food was always fresh and enough. It is true that they receive food in thermoboxes from somewhere. But there is a huge advantage - you dont have to smell kitchen and I assume they cook food in a special sertified place so you dont have to worry about food poisonning - we haven't had any problems with digestive system. The location is great as well - magnificent sea, lots of public clean beaches - rocky, sandy - choose what you want, nice cafes, supermarkets, shops, tour agencies, ATMs, bus stops... What else do you need for a wonderful holiday?! You might say that the furniture is old or the meal option is small but if you choose the budget vacation don't be too strict and demanding. The atmosphere and your mood make your holiday!
