Diomas Studios

The place is situated on the upper hills of Patitiri port, at Paliohorafina. Argiroula, the owner, picked us up with her car from the catamaran with a big smile and gave us one of the 4 rooms available, at the corner. Absolutely clean, fully equiped little studio with elementary kitchinette and a great balcony with a superb view to the sea, futher than the port, where the 2 brothers (2 little islands one next to the other) stay there for your pleasure day and night. Argiroula and her husband Kostas will help you with anything you might need. Just do not hesitate to ask. They come for room cleaning every now and then and are adorable good hearted local people. Very good value.Very quite place, although on a main road, parking available. Cool place, the whole Paliohorafina is a cool area, in the pine trees and more. But after sunrise, which is a poem from these balconies, the sun will hit your balcony badly, so you better hang a bedshit or something outside and of course, keep the shutters closed. After 10:00 it gets all right. A/c available, in case of need. A couple of neighbours. Behind the studios is the hotel Neriides, with a restautant & a swimming pool, if too lazy to move. Every second night, old italian customers & friends of the hotel owners, shall play the quitars and entertain the neighbourhood with Pink Floyd and you name it they play it! We just loved Diomas Studio from the first moment. And the huge Arokaria tree at the entrance. And the fullmoon the other evening, on the balcony, just super.
