Asaasi Yaa Beach Resort

If its peace and quite you are looking then look no further!You will experience the beautiful beach for long walks and the sound of the waves to lull you to sleep.This resort is close enough to some really good resturants and  music. The staff were extremey accomidating and we enjoyed faboulous breakfasts each day. Lunch and dinner were of traditional Ghanian fare and also delicious.

I've stayed at Asaasi Yaa twice over the last two years for multiple days.  Both times were truly magical experiences.  The first was for a few days with a group of friends visiting from USA, we explored Kokrobite, surfed Basua Beach and ate lots of great food at Asaasi Yaa.  
The second time I stayed some days with friends and some days solo.  It was a peaceful way to complete some work I needed to catch up on and one afternoon there were African drum and dance groups practicing on the stage area.  
Looking forward to being back this summer.  The people are kind and knowledgeable, the pace is slow and peaceful and the views are amazing.  
Recommended to anyone looking for a nice getaway

Asaasi Yaa Beach Resort has a wonderful secluded setting for those looking for privacy on a budget. It has a private beach front, friendly staff and large airy rooms. I discovered this spot last year and it has served as my go to place for peace and solitude.

A hidden gem, there are some sign boards but you really gotta take you time on the rough road to find Asaai Ya Beach Resort.
Greeted Immediately by smiling friendly staff, along with stunning scenery.  The beach front is clean and swimmable.  Was pleased to see two staff members were tidying up the beach assuring it was the perfect place for visitors. 
There was great Reggae music playing, a huge bandshell and plenty of seating.  Perfect for music presentations, and celebrations

Wonderful Budget Hideaway

Hidden Gem - Great Vibez

It an awesome place to be alone and enjoy the cool breeze of the beach. 
I last visited with a group in our youth ministry and I enjoyed the room, and atmosphere,I would love to visit the place again... Kudos to Hotel manager Patrick for the good work... Keep it up.

It's a great place to be... 

I am sorry to be writing this review but I would advise you to avoid this place. The rooms are dirty, the beach is never cleaned and the staff are surly and unhelpful.
Highlight is the chef whose food was always excellent but I am not sure that he works there full time. If he does then he should leave.

Management does not care

This is not a beach resort!
Its down a dirt road full of pot holes. The beach area is not clean. 
Its below 2star standard. Had to wash with a bucket as no water facilities over several days.
Electricity is off regularly. 
No entertainment or activities 
Rooms not cleaned daily 
Bites from bed bugs.
The owner has no interest is never there. He's rude and arrogant

Disappointed is an understatement

We booked this hotel through Booking.com . We had contact with them and was  promised to be picked up at the airport. When we arrived after 14 hours traveling with a small baby they were not at the airport . When we finally arrived at the hotel late at night , they were very nonchlant . We therefore took in at another hotel.
