Very well suited for a short stay. With closed windows and closed electric rollers, you hear nothing about the busy Guildhouse street. Certainly different in the summer with no air conditioning and open windows. The rooms and bathrooms are not top of the line, but clean, comfortable beds = ok. We were also at the restaurant at night and ate well civically. Reservation is recommended. Good breakfast, coffee or tea is brought, everything else from the buffet. But also here above. Since the performance ratio is acceptable, we would book again.

Good middle class

Nice and clean room. Large parking and a place covered for smokers outside. Restaurant is very good and breakfast perfect with a very large choice. The waiters are efficient, professional and very kind. In summary a good place for a stop in the area for an affordable budget. Thanks for your welcome and kindness.

Perfect place for my business trip

The surrounding area on the (very open) border with Holland invites you to take beautiful trips, best by bicycle. The restaurant offers very tasty, deliciously prepared meals at reasonable prices. The service often takes some time, however. Food on the garden table or in the generous dining room is nevertheless a pleasure. The breakfast offer (buffet) is rich, only some vegetables, such as tomatoes, peppers or cucumbers would still be desirable.

Rooms okay, a little noisy from the nearby street, good cuisine.

This time we were at the Hotel Driland with 7 people and, as we have been doing for many many years, we were able to spend another great short holiday with great food, very friendly staff in a pleasant family environment. For us, the Hotel Driland is simply the great hotel in Münsterland. Thank you very much to the entire hotel team. Of course we will come back!!!

Once again a great short vacation.

We went to this hotel over a decade ago, and we were thrilled, especially with the food. This year it was average for everything. Only the location is very nice, because you can take nice bike trips from there to Holland, because it's across the street.

Coming into the years

A really good address at an exemplary price for a weekend offer. A very good kitchen and a pleasant service. Perfect for bike tours around the area as well as a visit to the Rock Museum in Gronau.

A top offer

We were invited to a wedding in Gronau and stayed at the Hotel Triland. After a pleasant, quiet night, we were surprised by a delicious breakfast that left no wishes open. The room was large and the beds provided a refreshing sleep.

Short trip with accommodation at Hotel Driland

I haven't had that experience either... since I had to check out before breakfast, I was offered a lunch package. This was left on a fridge in front of my hotel room and consisted of four whole grains / salad / slice, a pear, a banana and a slice:-) For today I definitely don't need anything to eat anymore.;-) Lovely service that sweetened my day today

One of my business colleagues (a local guy) took me to have lunch at this particular establishment. Although it was not anywhere near Gronau's city centre, it was not too far either. When we reached there, it was really quiet (no guest was there). This time, instead of selecting the food, I let him ordering one of their special lunches for me.

The food was being served within 15 minutes and I was quite speechless : It was really delicious and the portion was huge (I couldn't finish mine). Based on the information I heard from him, this particular restaurant served one of the best German food in town.

Excellent food quality at Hotel Restaurant (Gasthof) Driland...

Stayed with two customers on a factory visit to Teupen. Had a great time, with a fantastic selection of food and drinks. Would recommend highly, and I’ll be back myself next month! Close to the lake to go running to 👌
