I stayed in this hostel during my trip to Gelsenkirchen to see a football match between Schalke and Leverkusen. The hostel seemed more like house of flats than your typical hostel! It was very nice and extremely clean! The atmosphere was nothing special, but it was okay for us. The staff was very helpful, we were arriving almost at midnight and although the reception was closed at 10 o'clock in the evening (if I remember it right) they still made us feel very welcomed.
