Tannerhof Naturhotel & Gesundheitsresort

We have just returned home after four days at the Tannerhof. Simply outstanding from many aspects.There are many informative reviews on Tripadvisor so I will endeavour just to give our impressions. Food - outstanding, Service - excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable e.g our waiter didn‘t just serve the food but could answer any questions about the food and wine. The quality of materials used everywhere is just first class - and the internal architecture and decoration is simply superb with a mix of old and new that helps to provide a very restful atmosphere. We stayed in the main house - Wi-Fi was as good as any other hotel. The bedroom had the most beautiful old wooden floors with superb Mountain View’s and a balcony to enjoy the afternoon sun. We took advantage of several of the treatments on offer and again all first class. To summarise - yes it is expensive but real quality does cost more and at the Tannerhof quality is what you get. If you are looking for something that is unique, very individual, a very interesting history and peace and quiet in the mountains you would be hard put to find anything better.
