Gîtes Au Chant des Marmites

We visited St Lary in July 2024 for the stage of the Tour De France and local hiking. Our time and stay for 4 nights in St Lary at Au Chant Des Marmites was outstanding and I could not say anything more positive. Pierre was a tremendously accommodating host, not only corresponding with me directly leading up to our stay and often providing suggestions and recommendations, but also his preparing breakfast each morning from the region exposing us to local flavor. The room where we stayed in the house was perfect. Private bath and even with a balcony where we were able to sit and enjoy the outside looking at the mountains. The accommodations are exactly as described, and the reputation and ranking as being the best accommodation option in St Lary is well deserved. Location was perfect. Only a very short walk down the street to local bakeries, restaurants, and the lift to go up the mountain. I cannot say enough about our stay and Pierre's graciousness at Au Chant Des Marmites.
