We stayed in the Residence the weekend that the Paris half marathon was cancelled. It rained a lot, but the Residence was a haven for us to rest up, dry off, and end each day with a good night's sleep. This was the quietest stay we have ever enjoyed in Paris. A warm, well designed room, with a modern cosy feel to it. We were on the 7th floor at the rear of the hotel, and we did not hear a thing at night. Slept very well. Fine views across the city. The Montparnassed tower and Notre Dame clearly visible. Excellent, attentive staff. Very competent, good English speakers, and always it seemed on duty. The breakfast room is bright, clean, spacious and modern, with a generous range of breakfast options. Try the croissants and the jams, delicious. The Residence now becomes our choice of accommodation in Paris from now on.
