Wonderful and welcoming hosts – Sophie and Laurent. Don’t worry if you can’t speak French as they are both fluent in English. They were both very generous with their time, helping us to improve our French, offering advice regarding restaurants, booking taxis and providing information on walking trails and places of interest. We were given an amazing, fresh and abundant breakfast every day: croissants, bread, butter, homemade jams, freshly squeezed orange juice, choice of eggs or cheeses, homemade yoghurt, tea / coffee, fresh fruit, plus, every day, a different delicious homemade treat e.g. orange and almond cake, scones, clafoutis, rice pudding! Spacious and clean rooms, heated swimming pool in huge well kept gardens (front and back) with fruit trees – figs, apricots, pears, mirabelle. Great location in beautiful Bourgogne. We were able to travel by car to Dijon and many of the famous small towns in Burgundy e.g. Pommard, Beaune, Meursault, Chassagne Montrachet. Highly recommended!
