Logis Hotel les Cimes

Please keep in mind, whilst reading this review, that this is a 2-star, inexpensive hotel. We arrived as a group of 4 cyclists to tackle the Aubisque, Tourmalet and Hautacam. The food, which we took as part of half-board accomodation, was a very good 3 or 4 course meal. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast, always plenty on offer and frequently refreshed. The hotel was clean and spacious... rooms cleaned every day. The garage was well equipped to store bikes, plus space for assembly/dissasembly and box storage, plus track pump available. The real highlight of the hotel was the staff (both staff and proprieters). Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Service was relaxed but always available. We were never asked to sign for drinks and, when the bill arrived at end of 4 days, we were pleasantly surprised by the costs. (wine by the carafe was good and good value) Would highly recommend to any cycling groups. Those three climbs were all within easy reach (Soulor/Aubisque and Hautacam start pretty much 10 mins from the hotel.... Tourmalet is prob 40 mins ride away ... to the base of it)
