We found this lovely spot whilst walking round the city, and called in for refreshments. It's a lovely, quiet space and you can sit in the small, shady garden or inside. The outdoor area is shade with a vine and an olive tree.
The menu is simple but good quality, and there is a good selection of drinks. We had a quick tour of the rooms, which were quirky and clean.
The owner was very welcoming, and made us feel at home. We went back the following day as we preferred it to the very busy main areas.

Tranquil oasis in busy Carcassonne

We stayed in a room on the top floor with a fantastic view over the town below. The owner and the person at the desk were very helpful. We ordered a bottle of wine at reception and the reception person brought it right to our room. The room was clean and well-appointed. Breakfast is a hoot; you pick up your fresh bread at the bottom of the stairs and eat in your room with coffee freshly made in the machine in your room and juice and cheese and butter and jam for your croissants and baguette. The latter items are stored in the handy mini-fridge in the room. The man at reception also gave us great nearby choices for dinner. The location cannot be beat!

Quirky little hotel in an amazing walled city

Les Logis des Remparts is a very small hotel, only 3 rooms, located within the old walled city of Carcassone.  The hotel is run by a nice helpful young couple.  The hotel is tucked away on a quiet lane away from the hustle & bustle of the main square.   Carcassone is jammed with tourists during the day but is more tranquil at night. 
The rooms are built right into the old stone walls and if you are not careful you can hit your head on the low ceiling beams.
Our small room had a comfortable bed.  The bathroom had a modern sink & shower and a separate tiny room for the toilet.  Each room has a small refrigerator and a coffee maker.  Room price includes a French style complimentary breakfast consisting of crousant,jam, butter, bread, coffee and orange juice box.
There is a small courtyard where you can enjoy a quiet morning or afternoon.

If these walls could talk

We stayed here as a family. We had a very good unit, the palce was comfotable and clean. What stands out is that the B&B is situated within the old ramparts and city walls of  Carcasonne medieval city, and in close proximity to all the toursit attractions and restaurants.

We loved the owner who was so gracious, welcoming, and happy! We also loved the cheese assortment and the wine/Carcassonne beer here for a relaxing, beautiful lunch with Les Logis des Remparts. I now realize that it is a b&b , but many visitors filled the beautiful courtyard for a bite of delicious lunch. We also noticed that a gentleman had tripped and the owner was so kind to bring a big bag of ice for his leg.... , actually more ice in one place than we had seen in our 3.5 weeks in Southern France! Very generous and lovely!   ALSO, great, clean, and welcoming bathroom :)
