Just spent a week at this hotel, returning after visiting 8 years ago. It is in a great location close to the shops, bars & ski slopes. The new Design Hotel and reception is a great addition. We were in block 9 which is the closest to the hotel. Our room was basic but clean with plenty of space. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and we slept very well. We had to walk outside to reach the hotel reception (and then walk through to the restaurant) but it wasn't far and we didn't feel the need to put all our layers on. We found the food to be very good and even though there wasn't a large choice we always found something to eat. We loved the berry juice every evening and the hot chocolate both in the morning and evening. We used the swimming pool a couple of times but did find it difficult having to walk outside to get to and from there. On our first visit the outside hot tubs were closed due to the outside temperature being too cold. On our second visit we did attempt to go outside but found the pool temperature to be much too cold to get into, which was really disappointing. On our previous visit to the hotel 8 years before, the pool was definitely a lot warmer. I also think it would be good if they had a machine to dry your swimming costumes like a lot of other swimming pools have. We found all the staff to be very friendly, especially in the restaurant.
