The window is open as we relax in bed and we hear the sounds of the waves hitting the shore.  We are one minute away from the ocean and we have a beach all to ourselves.   The only other sounds at night are a few dogs barking and right before daylight a rooster.  The owner of this hidden gem speaks fluent English and his wife and staff will help you any way they can.  We went in the end of June which is their cool season but the temp was in the 70s.   If you want peace and quiet go then, I would think.   
All of this is great in its self but I will never forget the owners dog.  She was a very big dog  but gentle as a lamb.  She would folllow us to the beach and lay down by us.  And at night she would sleep outside our door.  Oh I forgot to mention the guy who had a herd of goats who was he herded down the sea  shore,   It was great.

Stayed at the hotel 2 nights.  The hotel is about 15 minutes by car from the beach town of Playas.  It has a swimming pool and is basically almost oceanfront.  It is 50 meters to the beach.  Basically a private beach away from the always crowded beach in town.  Nice place to stay if you want to relax and tan.  No wifi.  Highly recommended.

Very good place to stay

What a great place for a weekend trip! The owner arranged a boat tour of some nearby islands. Smaller ones were filled with birds while another larger island is where we spent the afternooon sipping on colas under a tiki-styled restaurant and touring the camping and cabin areas. After watching an amazing sunset we took a short 20 minute boat ride back to civilization. 

Here they offer horse and buggy rides, tours of a banana farm, city tours of nearby Playas, beachfront weddings, karaoke and dancing under the stars on the beautiful panoramic oceanview deck.  

A large pool with hydromassage and a steam room sit alongside the gym. Live bands come in at times and play for groups and parties. An outside barbque with picnic tables also sits around the pool, perfect for groups or an afternoon of relaxing. 

All rooms have an oceanview with access to an almost completely private beach. Grab a hammock and spend the afternoon under one of the palm frond huts made especially for relaxing while listening to the sound of the surf while birds fly overhead searching for food.

There was so many options of things to do that my 2 days just wasn't enough. I hope to return soon when I can spend more time with my new found friends.
