Take a taxi up the mountain to this little gem. Used by local tourists and backpackers alike, this well appointed and well priced b&b will offer what you need to get away from the city towards fireplaces, wooden furniture, many comfortable details and a view to die for. The staff is courteous and attentive, making the fire in your room, or serving you a beautiful pizza with an inexpensive bottle of wine. The owner became another friend as she is well traveled with great English. There's hand made maps for local expositions, like a walk to a waterfall. They'll guide you to learning about Ecuador! PS. Wifi is only in the main house and my cabin was down a pathway.
