129 reviewsWe stayed one night at one of the villas and had dinner at the restaurant. Our waiters that evening were Dado and Mateo. To say that the service was perfect would not do it justice. It is by far one of the most exquisite dining experiences of my life. The food is absolutely fantastic, the recommendation of wines and champagne was spot on and the specials were one of a kind. Perhaps more importantly than that is that both were extremely friendly and welcoming. Upon hearing that me and my family were from Brazil Dado asked for advice on good Brazilian rum to serve at the bar. We gladly indulged the request, upon which he presented us with a local Croatian spirit (which tasted great). I cannot think of a better evidence of hospitality that an exchange of culture. If it's not evident enough by the preceding text, I cannot stress enough how much I recommend a stay and dinner at Villas Almar.
