We stayed at Jungle Creek Villas for 4 days in the El Gekko Villa (Studio), which is right next to the outdoor pool. The room was very spacious and had many of  the comforts of being home. The Manager (Heidy) meet us when we arrived and was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay with suggestions on where to eat or go during our stay. Heidy also booked some excursions for us during our stay.

DON'T RISK YOUR HEALTH!!

Please go read google reviews on this place and owners response to my review.  stay clear of this place.

We stayed at Dos Palmas in July. When we arrived, Heidi gave us a tour of the Villa. Upon entering, there was a strong scent of mold. Once we settled in, we actually found active mold on the walls. Called Heidi right away, but was told that the cleaners just scrubbed the walls 2 days ago and mold was common in Costa Rica - they will clean the walls next day.
Next day, received a text from Heidi saying the active mold I found was actually concrete - as you can see photos - it is NOT concrete... ITS ACTIVE MOLD!!!! It was on the lamps, it was on shower walls, it was ON THE WALLS!!.
There was dead bugs on the walls, live bugs on the plates, ants in the microwave, towels they provided was dirty. Pillow cover smelled like oil head and wasn't washed a while. I tried to look for a place near by but all was booked. The last review 1 star review Jungle Creek received was the reality of this place. I don't even think this place deserved 1 star.

STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE

We were excited to book our stay at Jungle Creek. Unfortunately, we left 2 days early and got another hotel because of our experience. Place was in complete disrepair. Air conditioning units over the bed sprayed disgusting condensation water over our heads all night long. Left our bed and bodies soaked. They failed to repair the unit after the first night and we had the exact same experience the second night. The second bedroom had flooding under the door that soaked my sons belongings. Property owner kept deferring the issues over to the property manager and was completely indifferent to the horrible experience. Asked the property owner to at least consider a refund for the two days we paid for and did not use, due to the condition, and they didn't even have the courtesy to respond back. No apology for the bad experience and sleepless nights. am leaving this review to prevent anyone else from having this experience. I am extremely disappointed and even more frustrated with the additional expenses to move to another location and double pay. 

Look Elsewhere!

My wife and I stayed at Jungle Creek Villas the last week of Jan. '24.  We celebrated our 50th anniversary that week.  The accommodations were perfect.  Very clean and comfortable.  The atmosphere and vibe at Jungle Creek couldn't have been any better.  A small out of the way place to stay either short term or extended. Heidi was awesome and extremely helpful in arranging anything you may want to do or need during your stay.

Awesome place to stay in Manuel Antonio

Jungle Creek Villas is a wonderful place to stay while in the Manuel Antonio area. We stayed in the Mono Visita Villa with our two elementary aged children. 
The hotel is very secure. There are so many amenities and nicities about this place that I have not seen at other hotels in Costa Rica. Laundry was free to do yourself. There is even a BBQ that you can use if you so wanted. The pool was deep and so refreshing after a long day hiking and playing in Manuel Antonio. We even got a visit from a toucan and many iguanas. 
Paula is so good about communicating, we were chatting long before my family arrived at Jungle Creek, and she also offered to set up tours and transportation.  The staff are friendly too and, for the most part, they let you be but are around if you need them. 
The beds are too firm for our preference, but hey, some people prefer that. Despite the beds, I would totally come back with my extended family and rent the whole place out. 
If you're debating about places to stay, I completely recommend Jungle Creek Villas! 

Slice of Paradise 

We loved this location! It was centrally located and close to some of the nicest beaches in the area. There’s a variety of restaurants and bars as well as grocery shopping within minutes of walking distance. Within the first 20 hours we saw quite a few monkeys and even a sloth on the property. Paula is very easy to communicate with as she’s very quick to reply to questions and also provides great support with finding things to do in the area. We will definitely come back here…hopefully, bringing a few friends along!

Perfect Getaway

We stayed in Alma Pacifica with 2 couples. We arrived at 10:00 pm and we were greeted by Paula, the owner-operator of Jungle Creek; she introduced us to the property and left us with detailed information in a laminated booklet. We really appreciated the welcome basket since we did not have an opportunity to purchase groceries until the next day. The villa is spacious and comfortable. Each room has its own air conditioner. The beds are comfortable and there is ample closet space. The kitchen is well-stocked and the refrigerator has an ice maker. We used the BBQ every day!
Our favourite part of Jungle Creek was the outdoor area with a pool, covered patio, all types of chairs and a BBQ. We really enjoyed meeting the other guests and hearing about their adventures. Twice,  during our stay, all of the guests went to dinner together.
We spent time each day watching the wildlife which is abundant. We saw monkeys, a sloth, toucans, macaws, butterflies...everything you would see at the national park right in Paula's backyard!
Paula is knowledgeable and always willing to help with dinner reservations, calling taxis and booking activities. We appreciated her recommendations.
The property is secured by a locked gate and we felt safe all the time.

Stay at Jungle Creek! You will love it!

We just left Jungle creek villas and had such a relaxing stay.  This was the last leg of our trip to Costa Rica but we did have a wonderful day spent at the national park with a tour guide arranged by Paula, our host.  Our villa had everything we needed to relax, and a full kitchen for cooking.  Three bedrooms left plenty of space foe our family of 5 and the pool was a great place to cool off.

Wonderful stay

I’m not even sure where to begin with our experience at Jungle Creek, except to say that it is nothing short of amazing. We were a group of 20 (12 adults, 7 kids, 1 baby) who booked Jungle Creek for 9 days. From start to finish, the experience was excellent – we had originally booked for 2020 and Paula was kind enough to let us extend our booking into 2022. She answers all questions quickly and thoroughly and never makes you feel like you’re a bother. One of the best features of staying at Jungle Creek was the personal concierge that is basically provided by Paula and her staff. Paula helped book and arrange all our excursions, and during our stay Angie (who was staying in Paula’s place) was responsive and helpful with anything we wanted – a taxi, a reservation, a question, a private chef – always within minutes. 
The villas are perfect, since we rented the entire place, it was easy for our group to access the main villa while everybody was swimming. There’s also laundry in the main villa and blenders in every suite (for frozen cocktails). I was surprised to see they even had snorkel gear and pool toys for the kids. One member of our group actually asked for a guitar and Paula even had that! If you are travelling as a group, I would suggest having a clear understanding of where everybody will sleep – we tried to fit one couple and a family of three in the Mono Visa (2 bedroom) and it was a little tight for them. It would be perfect for two couples or a small family though. We found the beds to be comfortable, the AC worked well, and each unit was fully stocked with everything we could think of. 
There are two barbecues on site, which we used a few times. We also ordered pizza one night and had a chef come twice (both recommended by Paula and both were a huge hit amongst the adults and kids). 
And the wildlife! Oh my goodness – we saw everything! There was a sloth that put on the most spectacular show for us hanging upside down above the pool, the lizards who walked across the pool water, the excommunicated howler monkey who was ripping branches out of the tree and throwing them to the ground, the Capuchin monkeys who ran right across the upper deck, the macaws, a toucan, and I missed it, but the group also saw a kinkajou run overhead right as the sun was setting. 
I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at Jungle Creek. Paula has truly created something unique and special, and you will not be disappointed with your choice to stay here. As their slogan says, “Come as guests, leave as friends” and that’s exactly how you will feel if you choose to stay at Jungle Creek.

Spectacular Experience at Jungle Creek

Cannot say enough positive things about Jungle Creek.  Paula was incredibly helpful and our family of 5 with three little kids was v comfortable in the suites.  Great way to do Manuel Antonio and being able to cook a few meals per day was a big save!  Paula was over the top great as a resource on everything Costa Rica - recommend for families!
