Perfect place for us! They were more than helpful with anything we needed! This is not the "thick towel, room service" kind of place. This is the place were you feel like you are staying with family. There were no up charges for setting up tours which most other places added. The price was very fair. We would recommend this place to everyone!

Treated us like family!

The garden & pool are beautiful. Lovely spot to watch an assortment of birds from.
The wifi was a bit sketchy, and we lost it for a night, because of rain, but that's to be expected, I suppose.
They were extremely helpful in explaining the ins & outs of Leticia,making recommendations, arranging taxi's.
The hotel is small, but all the rooms have a door onto the garden and there's a patio for eating take-out or relaxing.
My room had a mini-fridge, which is always helpful, to have cold drinks waiting.
It's a quick walk to the market, the docks, the square, convenience stores, so I found it very handy.
Great spot. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful spot, terrific hosts, convenient to everything

gracious host Helena and manager CAROLINA go out of their way to welcome their guests - my 1 week stay was most enjoyable, clean pool-side room with bath, A/C, fridge, Wi-fi (sporadic), located in the center of town, yet secluded and quiet, nearest ALL amenities.  

Unfortunately, when paying with CC a significant mandatory walk in scorching heat to son's store several blocks away is involved.

A heaven of peaceful rest in tropical pool garden landscape

It was a small family hotel and I liked it very much. We stayed in Leticia 4 nights. Signora who owned the hotel was very nice person and although she did not speak a language other than Spanish and I could not Spanish so it was fine to communicate together anyway. We got a reasonable room, do not overlook the pool but it did not matter. We were very pleased anyway. Breakfast was not served at the hotel, we had to go out to eat, but it was pretty close so it was no problem. And when we wanted have coffee so ordered signora it without problems, with another drink also. Restaurant for to take dinner was near also. 
The wifi only worked in the reception area, not in the room, but it did nothing of course.

Very nice pleasant stay

I arrived alone to Leticia and was a little worried about it. But Santa Helena´s Staff helped me a lot guiding me with the Tours along de Amazon River and with the Huitotos´ and Ticunas´ comunities! They are so  helpfull in everything you may need. Leticia is a very  secure place to visit in Colombia! This Hotel is very central place. the view from the rooms is very beautiful and you can listen the little parrots every early morning and before sunset when they return to Leticia. You can go around the Hotel to have breakfast at Panadería de Caldas, is cheap and good  and prepare Copoasú Juice from the Amazons´.  Also may have dinner at Mektiar a place like J&C, crêpes , spaghettis, lasagna,  fish...... is a very pleasant place. The price for this Hotel is fine! Other hotels are more expensive then Santa Helena and aren´t better!
