We stayed here for just 1 night while visiting Xiamen. I really wish we had more time here to enjoy the amenities. It is definitely a bit far from town, so be prepared for some long drives if you're here to see the tourist sites.

The room is big and clean, with a nice big bathroom and even plenty of closet space. Our room also had its very own hot spring soaking tub on the balcony. Its a great feature and you're able to soak in the privacy of your own room. Its a really big tub and takes quite a while to fill, so definite start the water way before you plan to soak.

One downside of the room is that there is no natural light. Since there is a tub, they've added coverings on the balcony, so you can't see anything outside.

Something that made the hotel kind of confusing is the flooring. The hotel is built on the side of a hill, so even though you drive up to the lobby, the lobby is actually the top floor of the hotel. So when you get in the elevator, you go down into your room. 

We had a great time here even though it was just one night. Maybe one day we'll have a chance to return and really enjoy the hot springs.

Excellent hot spring hotel

I was with my family on this Xiamen tour and spent the last two nights at this hotel. The hotel has a hot spring theme park which requires an admission fee of about rmb120. The park is huge with many hot spring pool with different functions for our body. The park was very clean and there were staff around to offer drinks to the guests.
Back to the hotel room, each room is equipped with a private hot spring pool inside. A burner and aroma therapy oil and incense burner is given to make the environment even more cozy and relaxing.
Breakfast is good with huge selection of local produce and international spread. 
It is a very good experience for family or couple who wants to enjoy hot spring in a place which is 40 mins away from the city.

Good hot spring experience

I believe it is a trustworthy hotel because they own a 4A National Tourist Attraction by China National Tourist Attractions Quality Evaluation Committee. The environment around the hotel and the hotel rooms are comfortable. A lot of facilities can be found in this hotel, such as snooker, gym, swimming pool and mini golf. The location is quite far from the city for me and nothing around the hotel area. If you need a supper, you can only ask for room service. I enjoy the hotspring in room a lot as for me it's more privacy. Only problem i have is the water leaking into the restroom from the shower area. But the housekeeping is very efficient to come and clean up for us.

Stayed 2 nights in Deluxe Hotspring Room. Room is spacious with hotspring tub in the balcony.  
On first look everything seems ok, but discovered that things are not as well maintained as they should be, bathroom fixtures are falling apart and for some reason we couldn't get hot spring water. The water only comes out warm. When we ask the hotel why the spring water is barely warm, we were told to let the spring water run for an hour or so as the pipes are far from the hotel. We let the water run for 2-3 hours before filling up the tub, and they only get to the temperature of regular bathtub water. Having stayed in hot spring hotels in Taiwan and Japan, this is the first time we come across such a problem. The hotspring water do get hotter when we run the bath at night. The same thing happen the next day again.
The hotel only have 2 restaurants, a Chinese and a Western. Give the western restaurant a miss if you can. The Chinese restaurant price is reasonable and the food is good.
As for the surrounding there is nothing to do at all. So would advise staying too many nights.

Good only for 1 night stay

please note: I only went to the hotspring not the hotel. 

I was quite disappointed with this place. At first sight it looks good, but when you look closer you can see the paintwork needs an update, the showers in the men locker do not look clean, and the water in the pools also does not look clean. Especially the big swimming pools really need some updating, it looks old and dirty. And after our visit my wife and i both had problems with our eyes, mine are getting better now, but my eyes were really dry and irritated. Besides that there are too many children and the spa is build against a hill so for each pool you need to clime some stairs. Now that i am writing this review i see it is owned by Best Western, well it is really below western standards. Like said: at first sight it looks nice, but when you look better you see too many flaws. I normally go to Riyuegu spring, but that one is more expensive, but now I understand why. Next time you can find me in Riyuegu again.
