This was a very interesting tour. We chose the night tour. The owner/tour guide, Jason did a thorough and entertaining job sharing his knowledge of the house as well as the artifacts in the home. This is definitely worth the time and money invested.

Regina’s Gem

Tour guide and owner Jason Hall shared questionable off-side material that made myself and my family very uncomfortable during the tour. As we needed to be 'let out'  of the venue by Mr. Hall we were forced to listen to comments that went against everything we stand for morally, as well as statements that were personally hateful towards our family, and family history.

Disgusted!

By far one of the coolest exhibits I have ever seen! I wish I had the opportunity to check it out again. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate. Everything was so authentic-there wasn’t a boring moment. Enough can’t be said about the artifacts and the castle as a whole, truly incredible!

Incredible Tour

You must book online.  The owner is the actual host, and since he lives there, all tours must be prearranged.  The inside is stunning and he has recreated the atmosphere that would have existed in the past.  Truly a labour of love as he has meticulously collected artifacts from the past.

A Worthwhile Visit

Went for the tour only and we were a little hesitant as the price was $50 per person, however, in the end, well worth it.
Jason, the owner, was very informative, even though we had a “lady” from Qu’Appelle who thought she knew more than him and was a bit snippy with him..it’s his tour lady!
The history of the building is mind blowing and, if you have the $$$$ you can even stay there. The rooms are authentic but have modern conveniences, incl washer & dryer.

Stone Hall Tour

Loved our experience. Jason was very informative with all of his historical information. This was a great tour for a girls afternoon. Can’t wait to see Jason develop more of the castle. Highly recommend the tour for all ages.

Great experience

My sister with the red Tommy Hilfiger shirt.  She took the pic of the haunted painting that’s supposed to give off negative energy.  The very last pic was outside the castle and you will see the whole lettering and such is non existent.  This was a weird encounter and we noticed this after we left and scrolling through the pics.  Ghost playing or posing in the pic in front of her???  We will never know but cool anyways.

We had already done an evening tour and returned a couple years later for afternoon one and enjoyed each at least as much as the other. The castle is impressive and the furnishings are beautiful throughout- so much to see. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and does a great job of sharing educational history while keeping it entertaining and engaging.

A must see, highly recommend!

I’ve been on many tours in my life, mostly throughout Europe. The Tower of London (The Bloody Tower) was haunting and amazing, I’ve seen nothing comparable. Until yesterday. This castle is everything it boasts to be. Though the history is nothing compared to places throughout Europe, the atmosphere, the details, the overall feel of it is enchanting. The tour guide/owner was fantastic at explaining every detail and offering interesting facts that kept my 12 year old intrigued. I had no idea such a place existed in Saskatchewan, though I’ve lived here most of my life! Well worth the time and money, 100%.

Hidden Gem

The stories and background were all very interesting, but it dragged on.   The tour was 1.5 hours but  it could be very easily condensed to 1 hour. There was a lot of standing around in the same rooms and people were getting bored.
