Had a great stay and very clean room with Mary Ellen & Barry!  The house is beautifully located on the water, very close to downtown, walking trails and has everything available to use in the house.  Would definitely come back again!

Great Bed and Breakfast!

Gorgeously appointed room.  Every detail attended to for guest comfort.  Very comfy bed. 
Spectacular waterfront location and welcoming common areas including oceanside deck and swimming pool.  Fragrant gardens including the most magnificent mature magnolia tree in bloom.   We were treated to a truly serene and calm 'oasis' on the Inlet, and breakfasts both mornings were superb.  Excellent hosts.  Highly recommend.

Anniversary Visit to Port Moody

My husband & I recently stayed here for 2 nights, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Mary Ellen & Barry were both lovely people & very accommodating to our needs.  

We were very happy to be in an air-conditioned place at such a hot time of year, so that was a definite PLUS! We definitely found solstice, peace, & quiet here. Also notable was the  beautiful view of the Burrard inlet!  Most of the time, we felt like we had the pool, pool area, and dock to ourselves, which was a nice add-on to a bed & breakfast! The outdoor patio was absolutely beautiful, and I enjoyed the 'frog-inspired' theme.  We took advantage of the pool and the chaise lounges quite a bit!! 

As for the bedroom, it was very well kept, and many amenities were provided. Mary Ellen even brought us snacks to our room two times while we were there - so nice! I did find the bed a tad on the harder side (my husband liked it), but for me I like a softer bed.  
The first breakfast was awesome, especially the waffles! Endless waffles! We were quite disappointed w/ the second breakfast, however.  We had told our host that we both cannot eat eggs, and yet this is what we were offered the next morning.  I'm sure it was just a miscommunication, but it did leave us feeling disappointed.  I was hoping we could just have some re-heated waffles from the day before, but when I asked, this option was not offered to us.  

The common rooms were lovely & all had a very different feel to them.  I was also given access to use their guitar (in the dining room) and I enjoyed playing it on our first night there.  For those wanting to take home a souvenir, they have a lovely little souvenir stand near the front door - especially great for those who'd like to take home something Canadian.

Overall, we had a great time, and we would recommend this place to our friends & family :) Thank you to Mary Ellen & Barry :)

Lovely outdoor patio!!

This was an ideal location for a recent event in Port Moody.  The home itself is located right on the water and has a hot tub and pool for patron use.  Stunning views, delicious breakfasts, exceedingly quiet and peaceful location, and beautifully kept home.  Our room was lovely, quiet, and had everything we needed.  Barry and Mary Ellen are kind hosts and we will definitely book here again the next time we are in the area.

A quiet, beautiful ocean-front gem!

We enjoyed 3 nights at MainStay B&B .
Barry and Mary Ellen our hosts made us feel very comfortable .Our room was exceptionally clean .  There were lovely  linens , comfy pillows and quality toiletries .
Mary Ellen made the most delicious breakfasts.  Barrie’s coffee was excellent .Best breakfast and coffee on our trip,by far !
The location on the ocean inlet had a beautiful view . We spent time on our hosts dock watching sunsets ,boats ,birds and the local harbour seal.

We recommend this lovely B&B .
