Lucas the general manager was very welcoming and helpful once we arrived. The property was stunning and had a beautiful view. The place is very quiet during the off season which we found very relaxing. Lucas’s recommendations were great and we would definitely come back in the summer ! Skookumchuck Narrows was also amazing to see!

West Coast Wilderness Lodge is a special play to stay, which we did for our 25th wedding anniversary.  The setting is so beautiful, the staff is friendly and accommodating, the facilities are comfortable.  Would definitely return again if we visit Egmont.

Spent a  wonderful, relaxing 2 nights at the West Coast Wilderness Lodge in mid-August. The food was fantastic, the staff are very professional and the views are the best on the Sunshine Coast. The weather one day was a little cool and damp but a lovely relief from the summer heat, especially when you’ve got a good book and a fantastic view. I highly recommend the lodge and was excited to see that the cliff side expansion on the adjacent property above the Egmont Adventure Centre are coming along nicely. Next year there will even be more great view-decks available !

This is a beautiful property with incredible views.  There is something for everyone when it comes to "things to do".  The restaurant is excellent, and the staff was excellent as well.  We will definitely return.

My husband and I booked the elopement package and took the float plane to Chatter Box Falls where we exchanged our vows. The wedding coordinator at the lodge arranged all the details for our big day, allowing us to sit back and enjoy the ride :)

We were glad we arrived at the lodge a few days before which provided time for us to truly relax and unwind before the big day. We enjoyed hiking the area as well as a private sunset kayak where we saw seals frolicking in the water. Our suite was perfect as it had a majestic view overlooking the ocean and mountains. Dining at the lodge is top notch as the gourmet menu does not disappoint.

We highly recommend the West Coast Wilderness Lodge for anyone seeking a non-traditional, unique wedding experience.

Fantastic views, amazing food and a wonderful welcome. Damien also entertained us all with his tales too, thanks to all and I would highly recommend this lodge.
Visited as a family to enjoy the area and walked to the falls, the nearby back eddy pub and the brilliant but basic small egmont village store.

Lovely place to stay! Super accommodating with special requests, absolutely amazing view from our room (cabin 5), staff are all great & very friendly. Would 100% recommend for a wilderness getaway! Kayaking was next door which we made good use of, pub next door was also super tasty. All round amazing experience here which we certainly won’t forget. 

The location is remote and amzing that they could provide great room services. Nice quiet and beautiful lodge.
The closest grocery store is almost 45 minutes away.
The restaurant service and the quality of food was outstanding.

Simply you can not beat the views or the venue.  Or the service or the staff or the hospitality. Extraordinary. We’ve have the most wonderful two days here. Wedding venue exceptional. Amazing track to the biggest sea water rapids in the world. With a great bakery at the start of the track even!
