OK, the hotel has got some adventages: the rooms themselves are not bad and it is quite close to the beach (5 mins walking) and facilities. Some people from the staff are nice. And that's it.
The worst nightmare there is the food: pasta in oil, chicken wings in thousands of styles, fat soups, watered down ketchup (Lord have mercy!) - disgusting. The rooms are spacious with balconies, but even if they are cleaned everyday, it is not too clean (e.g. cleaning lady left me in the bathroom some mop leftovers and they stayed for few days until she cleaned it again...). The most precious customers are the Russians, who bought apartaments there, so don't you even dare to bother them! There's plenty of children from Russia, Belarus and Poland which makes the place noisy all the time. There's only one receptionist, that speaks English - some speak only Bulgarian (how come?). The security guard shouts at people in Bulgarian, wanders around the hotel, banging the doors and peeping in the windows... I like Bulgaria, but anywhere else! And tvs / kitchens / ac doesn't work in each room.

Great if you are Russian youth - and only in that case

That was a kind of a nightmare. We booked it with another couple, and were disappointed only from the very first day or even hour. The "hotel" accepts youth groups which makes it living even at the middle of the night. The food was awful. No real reception with different opening hours especially during evenings. Staff was ok, but it was really difficult to find anybody who manages the hotel, the only persons available do not speak English well. We had a week and fulled it up with helping ourselves all the time.

Empty, dirty, noisy and with fatal food

I was not expecting an 8-star hotel but I guess keeping the apartment clean is a kind of basics. The staff was unreliable, there was a receptionist called Maria. We booked a taxi via her, but when we arrived at the airport (Burgas) she just sent us a mail saying that "she could not make it". So this was the grand opening. Then she promised we'll get washed towels in every 3 (!) days. Well, we had to chase the cleaning lady to make it happen. There was no cleaning of our rooms during 7 days... My roommate has dust allergy - the curtains were extremely dusty so we had to keep the doors open every night. No wifi maybe at the reception. Poor English. Rude security man.
Worst hotel experience ever...

Terrible, unreliable, dirty

The most disgusting place I can say thst I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. We requested two apartments for us and four children. We were informed that they were adjacent each other. Only to arrive on the day and find that they were opposite but in completely different blocks on site! At least the four children are teenagers. It took me an entire day to organize a kettle for the kids as there wasn't one in there apartment. Now as for our one bedroom self catering apartment opposite, well what a joke! One wardrobe, no drawers, 3 coat hangers. Sheets on the beds and found some stained and filthy duvet inners in the wardrobe which we decided were only good for sitting on as there was no sofa and only 4 rickety wooden chairs to sit on. The kitchen had one frying pan one pot and one wooden spatula......no knives, forks or spoons. The glass hob although it worked was smashed! Wires hanging out the ceiling and plaster coming off the walls. The only good thing I can say is at least the air con worked. As for the staff none of which spoke english very well if at all were rude and arrogant as if we were an inconvenience to them. The reception closes by 11.30pm so beware don't expect to be able to sit in the only place where you may get limited wifi and be able to have a quiet drink, it won't happen. The security guard is also in a great hurry to be able to put the wooden chairs away at night so you can't even sit outside without the fear of him removing your chair from under you. Do not be fooled by the pretty front entrance as you arrive as the place is not well kept at all. Avoid at all cost!

Holiday

After reading the reviews we booked 2 apartments for family of 6.we did ask for adjacent apartments when booking.which we was told we could have.but when we checked in apartments were in different blocks.
Very dissapointed with the service of the apartments.arrived and found no kettle in the apartments so had to chase reception all day to get one.no utensils for eating apart from 1 wooden spatula.im not one for slaving over a cooker while on holiday but if your going to advertise as self catering at least provide for it.we didnt even get a teaspoon. Damaged dangerous cooker hob.no changed towels for 11  days.apartments not cleaned.dirty bedding.wifi pointless in reception if more than 3 people using it.very little to no english spoken by staff.i think we were the only british family in the hotel for the 11 days.which is not too much of an issue but makes communicating to get anything done a problem.there are 2 pools the main pool looked to be fairly well kept although very busy and not much room around it.so we used the other small pool which is more run down and unkept.there was a small childs pool next to it but was not used as had no water in it.there was a small sanded area for kids with a couple of swings.we called this area the cat toilet as we frequently saw cats using it.
location was ok but a good 30-40 minute walk to centre of sunny beach.but plenty of shops locally.advise getting a local bus only 1.2 lev each as taxi is expensive was quoted 35 lev one night to get back from sunny beach.
Plus side was getting a bus to nessebar what a contrast to sunny beach.lovely place.well worth visiting.
